Doesn't sound like camp fodder to me but again questions SM's claim to only sign high character guys. I was asking myself the same thing. The guy in the car with him that night was Josh Gordon. Wonder what it would take to get him outta Cleveland now that Hue Jackson is clearly trying to change the culture there.

I am as critical of people and their behavior as anybody but this was two years ago and he was fresh out of college. He has had two years in the minors and no issues. Could be has grown up. If not, you cut him.

I've seen someone nod off to sleep in a Taco Bell line before. The dang line was huge and the people there were taking up a bunch of time. Because you're in a driveway, you can't just pull out of the line. So, sometimes, when you're tired and you've to wait in a long line, you nod off.

We actually have a REAL GM making the moves, and if he doesnt work out he wont be here. SMGM isnt perfect, but I will take his decisions in most cases. And its a low risk, possible high reward signing.

Oh I liked the move too. But I just get annoyed when GMs, and they all do it, claim that they will only sign high character guys. Then our GM signs Jefferson, Galette, Culliver etc.

I don't know the guy but it was a few years ago while in college...perhaps his character has changed.
