I am think that the Bengals will knock off the Steelers, and the Chiefs will continue their winning ways ..

With Manning back, the stars are aligned for redemption ... And I actually think this is our toughest matchup, as KC played us well in the first game at Arrowhead . . .

What do you think ?? ..

Will Cincy be able to beat the Steelers ( wouldn't that be Marv's first ever playoff victory ? )

I think KC cruises vs Houston

I'd rather play the Steelers - for the revenge factor.

I'm not so sure the Chiefs won't blow it with the TExans.

three possibilities:
1. If Steelers win, we play Steelers
2. If Steelers lose and Chiefs win, we play KC
3. If both Steelers and Chiefs lose we play the Texans.

I'm much more comfortable with scenarios 1/3 than with 2.

Really after yesterday can we say any team would be preferable . I just hope for no turnovers from the offense and ride our defense just like we have all year. Any team that comes into Denver can beat Denver or Denver could blow them out.

To answer the question, I want KC. Our best unit is the defense and KC has an offense that will not go 80 yards and will kick FGs.

I want to beat KC into the ground

Looks like McCarron again for the Bengals. I think the Steelers win that one and punch anot her ticket to the Mile High city.

I would agree that it's going to be the Steelers. I like the Bengals defense but I don't know if they can hold up the whole game against the Steelers if they get no production from the offense.

Each team presents a unique opportunity. I do think Houston is the easiest match up just they don't have a dominant defense or offense. I think we would match up well to contain them and find a way to win.

With the Chiefs and Steelers I'm torn. The Steelers obviously present the toughest match up for our defense. At the same time I do think our offense can do well against them. I would love to see especially Brock get another crack at them and for our defense to redeem themselves. The Chiefs well always fun to face a division foe plus get the revenge factor. Houston against whoever we have at RT though sounds like a recipe for disaster. I think the Chiefs are our hardest match up but at the same time would be the sweetest victory of the 3.

I'm betting on the Texans to deflate the Chiefs bubble. Seriously.

I'd like to see a footprint on Brady's face mask - while the Broncos go to the Super Bowl.

I don't care who we play. In order to win a Superbowl, the Broncos have to be capable of beating any NFL team. We're playing in Denver throughout. That's an advantage that they must capitalize on. I'm not looking for any luck of the draw this year. I'm only looking for the Broncos to finally come together on offense, defense and special teams simultaneously in this playoff run. The talent is there. They need to be healthy, have GREAT game plans and execute. Period.

Although, there's something about ending the Chiefs season here in Denver that has a particularly sweet smell to it.

Honestly it would not surprise me. Look at this 10 game win streak and tell me which win was a quality win.

They beat Pittsburgh but with their 3rd string QB playing in Landry.

They beat us but that was with Manning have the worst game of his career.

The rest were against teams not even close to sniffing the playoffs. So now actually going against playoff caliber teams I think they might be surprised by the level of competition.

I would throw in Houston has actually played really well over the 2nd half of the season. Now given a lot of their wins are like that of the Chiefs against very bad teams over the 2nd half of the season. The one quality opponent they did play they lost 27-6 against the Patriots. So we could be looking at 2 overrated teams playing each other with one having the chance to advance. This is why I do think we should hope for the Bengals to win as I do think that gives us the easier opponent in the divisional round.

Yeah I remember how many, including myself thought, Ravens and Colts were just what the doctor ordered and that didn't work so well. I'm with MH64, bring it on and the best team will live another day and the other one deserved an early exit. Every team possesses a unique problem for Denver and they need to overcome them whoever comes to Denver. So...I take back my " 2nd that " earlier response and instead say.........BRING IT MOFOS!!! :)

You are right every one of the teams we could face will present a major problem just like we will for whoever we play. At this point these are the best teams in the division facing off so no telling what will happen. The AFC is just about as wide open as can be. I think I could make a case for just about every team although I do think Houston is the least likely of the 6 teams.

I'd rather play Pittsburgh (and think that will be the case). I think that gives us a good chance to advance. Hosting Houston gives us a good chance to advance too, but I don't see them getting past KC.

If we play the Chiefs, it's best we do so after NE roughs them up in Foxboro first.

Ultimately I don't care who they play. As mentioned, we viewed the Ravens and Colts as beatable (and they were) but the Broncos lost anyway. Those were two inferior teams that came into Denver and got out with wins. This year it's hard to make a case any of these potential playoff matchups are "inferior."

There is a big part of me that would like to see the Chiefs come to Denver and the Broncos be the team to end their season. Then again, the thought of them going one-n-done in the playoffs AGAIN is pretty appealing too. In fact, I believe this is what will happen. Keep in mind this Texans team, in Cincy, scored just 10 points against the Bengals, a team with an offense far superior than the Chiefs offense. Texans, on the road against a potent Bengals team, score just 10..and WIN. That Texans defense is going to feast on the Chiefs offense. Likewise that Chiefs defense has no reason whatsoever to fear the Texans offense. I suspect this will be a low scoring game. Texans 16, Chiefs 13.

The Bengals are 12-4 and the Steelers are 10-6, but I just can't help but feel the Steelers are still the class of the AFC North. Until the Bengals start showing up in the playoffs and doing what the Steelers have been able to do in the last decade (2 SB wins and a third appearance) it's hard to argue against the Steelers. Combine that with the Bengals still missing Dalton. This could be an advantage, since Dalton in the playoffs is an epic fail waiting to happen. I just don't see Mcarron being able to exploit even a weak pass defense enough to keep up with the Steelers offense. Steelers 31, Bengals 23.

This sets up a Texans @ Patriots and Steelers @ Broncos divisional round if my predictions are right.

One thing I noticed is the AFC WC games are both on Saturday and the NFC games are on Sunday. Usually it's one each on both days. Interesting mix up this year.

I actually like that they decided to do both AFC games on the same day. Then everybody knows what is happening and can move forward with planning. NO having to wait another day to see how things shake out.
