when was the last time we won back to back games ? have we done that in the gruden era ?

dean we have a shot in all our games but lets see them do it first before we get into proclamations and figure out how we use our 25th over all pick next season

Absolutely. Take this one game at a time and don't count on anything being a given with any team. Every time in the recent past we think like this as Redskins fans we usually experience a let down. I certainly hope that we are finally proven wrong but no pt in expecting anything to happen at this time.

There are some concerning things in the upcoming game against Dallas.

1) Our run D is bad when it bounces outside...a strength of McFadden.

2) Goes along with 1...if they are running, Cassell is not throwing.

3) Our run game has been erratic at best, atrocious at worst. Dallas is bad against the run.

4) This goes with 3...if we can't run on their weakness, we have to throw on their strength.

dallas has talent . they have a great TE and 2 game breaker wrs plus a mismatch with beasley . and mcfadden is great at our worst thing we defend

plus the cowboys always seem to out think us .

pretty damn funny that some redskins fans don't expect a win monday night. ya'll do remember the REDSKINS beat a dallas cowboy team last season with our 3rd string QB right?

the dallas cowboys had romo, dez and murray in that game.

the REDSKINS should win this game, they clearly are a better TEAM.

FWIW, Washington has always and will always be #1 on my hate list.

I agree. I kinda miss the good old days at ESPN during Dallas week where there were very few holds barred. Maybe we should consider lifting the smack talk ban during this week. Everything is fair until somebody breaks down and cries like a school girl.

He is going to be. Has the tools, but the kid just turned 19. Thrown into what we all believed was a great surrounding cast. The let down that has had me fashioning a noose out of old neck ties multiple times this year really isn't his fault. ESPN ranked our O-Line at #11 to start the year and the guy has scrambled for his life. Our defense has underperformed like few others. Meh, next year will be better. Until then, I have got the Nobody Gives a Fuck Bowl on December 22nd to look forward to.

when the Skins were in the dumps, they still beat Dallas on MNF. Dallas is in shambles and honestly the Skins should take care of them going away @ home. I think the leadership on the team and feel good taste of being in 1st will motivate the good guys to a solid win.

In Aikman and Jimmy Johnson's rookie years. The Boys finished 1-15. That one win came against the Redskins. Personally if this team is growing in the right direction. This is a game they have to win. If for no other reason. The Skins don;t wanna be the firs and up o that point, the only victims of a dalas Cowbys team that is 0fer w/o Romo.

This is a game in years past where the Skins come out totally flat and lose horribly. We will see if this team has grown. With leaders like Goldson, Trent, and Hatcher in the locker room maybe they get up. I Won't count on it though. I think 8 wins this division, 9 for sure. But at 8-8, we will probably have to win 2 of our remaining 3 division games. This Dallas game terrifies me. Division rival with nothing to lose, prime time tv, and coming off a big win. Fingers crossed.

That Redskins win last season should be the exact reason why we should be somewhat worried about Monday's game. The better team didn't win that nt & the same could happen with this game. Hopefully - the Redskins come out strong and take care of this one, but this is far from a given.

I think you missed my point. I hated those ESPN days. I only came along here because we were not going to have the open 24/7 back and forth trash talk. I am in favor of a Smack Talk folder. Played sports all my life or as long as my body would allow and have never been a trash talker. Score board says all that needs to be said.

I actually hated those days also, this was tongue in cheek. Although I still don't see the same passion for Dallas week as we had even just a few years ago. It's not just here, it's even the media. A decade ago, Dallas week was all the local media talked about.

I don't think you are wrong and although I am looking forward to the game I am not getting excited that it is against Dallas. I think my brain is trying to figure out how we get to 8-8. I am sure by Monday night I will feel differently. For a change I do not work with a Boys fan, that might have something to do with it. I got up for the Saints game because I have two coworkers from N'Orleans.
