Enjoy the bird day everyone. There are three NFL games on T.V. I always say that Thanksgiving is partially about eating until you get sleepy and sleeping until you get hungry. I'll be working.

Thanks TJF12. Yea but I have today and tomorrow (Wednesday) off and my pay rate is 2X on Thanksgiving. So, I am not complaining too badly. I will actually watch the Lakers and Dubs tonight on TNT. Sssswwwweeetttt!

That double pay is always a good thing. In the past, I've actually volunteered to work Thanksgiving because of the extra pay.

Ha, the slower ones taste better anyway. Mine turned out wonderful!

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Mine was real good. Cooked a 24.5 pound Turkey that turned out great. It's the biggest one I've ever done and will likely never do a smaller one. So much easier to stuff and carve. As an added bonus...tons of leftovers, even after sending some home with guests.

That's a big bird. Mine was half that size. I'm making some turkey stock with the carcass today. Turkey soup tonight!

I usually do a turkey and a ham, but the turkey was so big this year, the ham would be overkill. I make ham a few times throughout the year anyway, so it wasn't really missed.
