I get that jones has some talent, but when you need 2 yds, he has to just blast that in there. You don't stutter step in the backfield.

My question is do we have our back if Alf is on his way out. Jones is okay but not great. He has put the ball on the ground a lot. There are things I like about Jones but he has to develop. He has to learn to run less upright and the fumbles need to stop.

Honestly, I am happy with how we are playing overall. I am very pleased with KC and our D is doing what you have to against NE and that is get extra possessions. We are having problems with the absolute basics.

Agree but every game is doing that. I agree with you, the team needs more players. They have had plays available though. But that is part of showing you want to be here.

I totally agree with you GK, however to be fair, Pats are using a makeshift OL, even going so far as to use a TE and a G at right tackle.

Happy huh? I'm not that guy dad, sorry. The team looks absolutely awful. We reflect our soft coach. Offense is a disaster, defense is absent od playmakers and our ST is no better than it has been with exception of Hopkins. We are years away from where we need to be and Gruden is NOT the guy to resurrect a turn around. NE may be the template to success but we have to get the right coaching and players in place first.

Unless N.E. goes on a scoring tear, I'm actually encouraged by how close this team is sticking to them. Almost everyone expected a massive blowout. Shows the fight in 'em and work yet to be done. Of course pyrrhic victories don't count for much.

You misunderstand. Offense has not been awful...WRs and TEs have not done the absolute basics of catching the damn ball. So the offense has actually looked good because the plays were there and the QB put it on them. We don't usually drop the ball like that. Defense has two turnovers against a team that doesn't turn it over. STs sucks as usual.

NE has been the best team in football this season and we are not getting destroyed to the measure I thought. If we did the bear basics, we may actually be winning this game.

Changes nothing, Jarrett too. The play was designed inside and he bounced it ONE time. They continue to attack the center of the field 70% of the time. But you were right on that ONE play.
