Thee is a lot of flak on the internet today regarding the crime that Hardy got away with, beating up his girlfriend a year ago. Many national media types (like Rich Eisen) are calling for Jerry Jones to cut him. I doubt that will happen, unless the NFL gets pressured too much, and Goodell takes charge and forces Jerrah to do it.

Thoughts?

It just amazes me how Jerrah still defends this shitbag. Not surprised that many 'Boys fans still can justify keeping Hardy around. The 'Boys have quite a history of characters with baggage...... The list is pretty long, but of course they have the SBs so it doesn't matter.:L

The right thing to do is cut Hardy. I would think that JJ would, especially with all of the negative press it's getting now with the photos released.

I hope he does, but I doubt it, since he said late yesterday that they had seen the pictures before. He is just a low-life owner who tries to win without regard for the rules or class.

I never want injury upon anyone…but Hardy is a piece of shit who belongs in Jail. He shouldn't have the privilege to make millions of dollars and play in the NFL. Jerry Jones is equally a piece of shit for attempting to sell his soul for a championship. Goodell as well for allowing all this. Stop rewarding these criminals. The youth looks up to some of these clowns

Well said. I'd like Chip to have 2 Te's at all times, in there to help either Johnson or Kelly on Hardy. Problem is, Gregory is also a good rusher, and the other DLs are not slouches either. Marinelli is a guru and will figure out a way to get to Bradford no matter what. I would try every trick in the book to distract Hardy, and get him to fight and get thrown out of the game. Bradford beter be able to gt rid of the ball quickly like Eli does. Just don't rurn the ball over, and we should be able o win this game.

Not me. I want just the opposite. I want Agholor to get in there and stretch the field a bit with some deep attempts.

Hardy's attorney had the domestic abuse charges expunged from his record 3 days ago. The NFL reduced his suspension from 10 to 4 games. He's making less than 600K and is arguably the most dominant DE in the NFL this year. He's a total scumbag, next place you'll see him is in the Eagles backfield tomorrow night.

He is making 600K per game with additional incentives, but no guarantees. If the Boys lose tonight I predict they will get a conscience and cut him....mainly to save several million dollars during a lost season.

His wife /girlfriend may be safer if he stays with the Cowboys. That way he has

At 2-6, the Boys can save over $5M on the season by cutting Hardy. And with Hardy being a FA at the end of the year, there is no guarantee he will be back anyways. If I am the Cowboys I am cutting him (Plan A) or signing a longer term deal now (Plan B). With the bad press and the ability to hang cutting him and saving $5M over his head, you would think Hardy would be motivated to sign a team friendly deal.

Why? What lesson has he learned? No reason for him to sign cheap.

The Cowboys are taking a huge PR hit by employing him. If they cut him, its unclear if another team would step up and sign him. Hardy could be the next Ray Rice. Good player. No job. Market for his skills is probably $10M plus per year. Cowboys should reasonably expect a huge discount for taking on the PR hit. It hurts the brand in a very tangible, financial way. Hardy should share in that expense. Otherwise the Cowboys should cut him and save $5M from a season that is all but lost.
