Lettuce, tomatoes, mayo etc on burgers, why?

Hamburgers are the favorite fast food for families to eat. but adding the following like...........

lettuce
pickles
mayo or Miracle Whip
yellow American cheese
catsup
onions
tomatoes
mustard

which turns out to be this.....
they just ruin the image of the hamburger. why do we need them as add-ons?


why not stick with only these........

A-1 steak sauce
Tabasco sauce or other type of red hot sauce(but none of that chunky stuff)
bacon
mozzarella cheese
jack-in-the-box taco sauce
a tiny teny dash of Dijon mustard

which turns out to be the..........

this is a much better burger that use these toppings, my toppings I recommand

Other times want tomato lettuce bacon.
sometimes just kethup and mustard only.
It just varies.

Not much of a cheese guy on hamburgers though. Sometimes though.

Or, if I'm feeling like it, replace the Ketchup and Mustard with some Chilli.

I actually like the McDonalds original small hamburger the best.
Mustard Ketchup and onions.
I crave that more often than anything else.

Because the flavors blend together very well. There's a reason why your first picture is the standard and your second picture looks like it's missing a few things. If I were going to make them myself if I were going to use A1 I'd probably mix it into the meat before I cooked it rather than using it as a condiment.

I often do without Lettuce, but if I have it in the fridge it goes on.

Pickles, Mustard, Ketchup and Cheese are what I generally make sure I have for sure. Onion is usually common as almost always have that in the fridge, but it's in tier2 taste wise.

I love almost everything you make with tomatoes, yet don't like tomatoes. Weird I know. Mayo and Tomatoes are generally the 2 ingredients I do not like.

If I was going to put A1 on anything, I'd probably lay my dick on the cutting board and punch it really hard.
