To be fair, it wasn't just OD... pretty much all of them thought they'd hardly miss a beat. OD's just the most noticeable about it.

Personally, I expected 2-3 losses this season based in the other talent coming back. I that that was a pretty fair assessment. I don't think Anyone expected the Ducks to already have 3 losses.

my point is OD apparently expected no drop off by losing Mariota and gaining some FCS QB, which is laughable.

we got Vernon Adams to replace Mariota.

Oregon also reloads, next man up is tradition at Oregon.

our offense has all of its playmakers back...if not more with our new added depth at RB.

VA is no Mariota, but he isn't that much of a step down.

With Oregons offense this year, we really just need a QB who can control the game and not make mistakes...Adams easily does that and more.
