They must be. Toledo, Navy, Temple, Houston, and Memphis should be getting more love. But not being P5, they are relegated.

Yeah, that 4 pt victory over Arkansas and that OT win over Iowa St just screams Toledo should be ranked!

And as for Navy, I can't even say that much. They are going to get killed by ND this week. ESPN FPI gives Navy a 7% chance to win and ranks Navy 67 in the power index.

Temple beat Penn St and Cincy, but neither of those teams are good. Better case than the previous 2.

Houston? Are you fucking kidding? See Navy.

Memphis, another team that hasn't beaten anyone. But they were tough last year and such, so I can at least see them borderline top25. They play Ole Miss this weekend and they are the home team. It will be interesting to see how they stack up.

The rest are as far as top25 goes right now.

I'm not really sure. But, I would estimate someplace in the second 5. Oklahoma, Northwestern, Utah, and Clemson have all been more impressive than Ohio State. Certainly, I would rank Northwestern ahead of Ohio State at this point.

I said this earlier in this thread. IMO, no way in hell should Bama be ranked ahead of Ole Miss, as they beat Bama, in Bama's back yard. By the way Ole Miss didn't beat Florida.

First off, there should be any polls until the end of September - perhaps later.

But the reason the belong ranked lower is because they have not been as good as the other teams I mentioned. Toledo deserves to be ranked ahead of Ohio State by virtue of having better wins.

So that's the bottom line - Ohio State has not shown themselves to be the best team in their conference, or even in their state. However, if the Buckeyes run the table - as they probably will - I am sure they would be in my top 5 by the end of the season. But to place them there now would be to weight speculation higher than results, which I find to be ridiculous.

VERY RECENTLY Clemson and ND just played a down to the wire two point game....yet there are 9 spots difference in this poll. And VERY RECENTLY Alabama killed Georgia and there is only 6 spots difference. Totally frickin' illogical. smh

Whatever, that is your opinion, but Ohio State hasn't lost a game this year and IMO they should be ranked #1, until they lose a game.

Sooner or later you are just going to have to accept that Alabama is most likely going to the playoffs. And if you don't like that, you better start becoming an LSU, Texas A&M, Miss St, Tennessee, Arkansas or Auburn fan and pray they prevent it.

If 1 bad game is all Alabama has all year long, I'll take that.
