Except for the part where they went after the Patriots and TB when no rule was actually broken. Other than that you are almost spot on.:thumb:

I have no doubt that you sincerely believe that. That's the truly tragic part of this whole incident. It caused an entire region of this country to take leave of their senses. I pray you guys snap out of it soon, for your own sakes, but I'm not holding out much hope.

Why wouldn't I believe the truth?

The league had no evidence that TB violated the rules, their own admission in court.

You do realize that isn't what you said, right? Not having sufficient evidence to prove something isn't the same thing as not doing something. Pretty much anyone with the ability to form rational thoughts can see that the Patriots knowingly tampered with the balls and Brady was at least aware of it. The appropriate punishment for that can be debated, but the underlying issue isn't really up for debate.

Based on what? The league openly admitted in court that there was in fact no evidence the balls had been tampered with.

Problem here is a rule was broken. Had Roger not over punished the judge probably let's the punishment stand.

What rule was broken? Even the league couldn't back it up in court and ended up resorting to making the argument that the Commish can do what he wants and it doesn't matter if a rule was actually broken or not.

Did either of you actually read the transcripts of the case?

Do you actually understand the difference between doing something and being able to prove that something was done?

Here's a great example. Let's see if you can follow along. I just farted. It was long and loud and glorious. However, my wife and daughters are all out right now, so no one can prove that I did it. I expelled air from my ass just like the Patriots expelled air from the footballs and both stink to high heaven.

You're missing the whole point, there is no evidence a rule was broke, as admitted by the league, however there is compelling evidence of natual causation.

We are talking about .2 lbs of air in cold weather. Have you ever played basketball in the driveway in the winter, or have you only lived in warm weather states?

:L I give up. Not sure why I tried discussing this with a Pats fan in the first place. I just pray to god you don't apply this same type of thinking to the rest of your life.

I do, in fact part of my job is conducting investigations for my employer at times. And what happened in this case was a determination was made then an investigation was conducted to find evidence to support the that determination.

It's exactly the opposite of what a good investigation is.

You follow the facts to the conclusion, not form a conclusion then look for facts.

You don't think anything would have happened? Have you had your head in the sand for the last 8 months? The league made a Federal case, literally, out of .2 lbs of air pressure which occurred due to nature.

They did it with no evidence. (Their own admission under testimony.)

So long as he wasn't using his phone in relation to the game, no I don't really give a rats arse; however, the manner in which the league handled it was proof positive that the so called "Deflategate" wasn't about the "integrity" of the game, but about punishing a teams success in the interst of creating parity.

you mean when they "naturally" took the air out of them? This post kind of explains why you guys don't get it and feel the world is out to get you. Individuals in the Pats organization cheated and weren't found to have not cheated. You guys trying to pretend this issue is anything at all like deflategate and proves anything about the league being out to get the Pats would be like me comparing Brady and OJ...

I can't believe you even typed that you think it was "about punishing a team's success in the interest of creating parity". I'm sorry, but that is a step below suggesting the Illuminati were behind it.

You clearly know nothing about what has been happening. Nothing that I posted isn't factual. The league admitted in court there was no evidence that that Patriots tampered with the balls. However there is direct evidence that it was due to weather conditions.

You follow the facts not your emotions when investigating and coming to a conclusion. You apparently can only follow your emotions.

The league was proven multiple times to be lying about the case at hand, the Patriots were not. Yet you choose to believe the liars.

So After reading this thread I've learned several things.

1. Tom Brady is cheater.

2. Tom Brady is a liar.

3. The Pats are on their bye week.

What emotion am I following? I've said over and over again that Brady shouldn't have been suspended for what he did and I don't hate the Pats or Brady. So what is the emotion? You can keep saying they didn't cheat but it doesn't make it true. So About those two ball boys again and Kraft accepting his penalty with his tail between his legs...

Some of you will literally argue anything. After reading you try to explain your "decades" discussion in the other thread I just had to close it. Just admit when you are wrong sometimes. It's a much better way to go through life, I promise. Maybe you guys will luck out again this weekend and some QB will order a Royale without cheese and you can call for his permanent ban from the league:thumb:

Clearly 5 out 6 voices in NE head are lying to him, he needs to listen to the sole honest voice speaking to him.

And you came to that conclusion not based on facts, but on your emotional thinking, with the exception of #3.:thumb:

I love it when people who have never seen a snowflake live, tell others how to ski down the Dual Black Diamonds.

Left coasters who've never stepped into temps in the mid teens telling people what to wear in winter.

Big Ken telling left coasters how to surf.

NFL trying to go to court and charging someone with doing something that their own investigation concluded he did not do. In order to strengthen the argument, they assumed he "probably" knew.

Anyone want to argue the first three statements for the next seven months?

Yes, it's the voice of reason. There is no evidence TB broke the rules or intended so, per the leagues own admission. There is however credible evidence that the minor deflation occured naturally.
