It was early, but from his and his father's words, there was nothing left to do after becoming the first to attain 500 Wins and 1,000 Games Played. The very month he played #1000, he put his Colorado house on the market!


Brodeur, from what I can tell, has the drive to go on as far as his body can take him. Despite the records, his last few seasons haven't gone as smoothly as they could have, especially with injuries, and I think he's looking to have the best year possible so that he can retire as still one of the better goalies in the league.
