Early Christians equated holiness with dirtiness, but the Middle Ages' plagues changed their tune, and hygiene suddenly became important. Unfortunately, Europeans in the Middle Ages though clogging the pores with dirt was the best way to be hygienic, and rashes, boils, itches, and terrible diseases became common. This went on for about 600 years.

I don't know, are there laws about this stuff? I was just joshing about my own design, because if I want to make one I'll do it anyway (and I already have a ton of nerdy shirts).

OK, how good are you guys? There's a commercial on TV, can't remember on which channel, for a TV series with a vietnam-era song. I didn't catch the lyrics, don't know who the band is, but it's a song everybody has heard if you've spent any time at all listening to late 60s early 70s music. Can anyone name it please?
