NFL Picks Challenge

Alright for you old guys we did this last year with decent success and hoping this year maybe it will be a bit bigger even. For you new guys something we did on this board last year that is open to all posters not just Bronco fans is that of every week making picks of the upcoming games.

How this works is depending on the week there can be up to 16 games in a week. What you would do is rank those games 1-16 with 16 being your most sure pick that the team you are picking is going to win. For every game you get right you get the points that you assigned to that game. I'll give an example...

Week 1 of the NFL season. I will just go down the list so this is not in the order I would actually pick them.

Let's say that the first game of the year of New England and Pittsburgh is the one I think I know for sure who the winner will be so I would mark it as

16) Pittsburgh over New England
15) Green Bay over Chicago
14) Houston over Kansas City
13) New York over Cleveland
12) Buffalo over Indy
11) Miami over Washington
10) Carolina over Jacksonville
9) St. Louis over Seattle
8) Arizona over New Orleans
7) Detroit over San Diego
6) Tampa over Tennessee
5) Cincinnati over Oakland
4) Denver over Baltimore
3) Dallas over New York
2) Atlanta over Philly
1) San Fran over Minnesota

So again then whatever games I actually picked right at the end of the football week I get those points. We then keep a running total throughout the season and the person with the most points at the end of the year will win a $20 gift card to NFL.com's shop.

Now realize with this you have to have the picks in by the time the first game of the week starts. I was pretty relaxed on this rule last year but it definitely helps me if you can get the picks in on time.

The other thing is on the weeks where there is not 16 games always start with 16 as the top game. You might end on point #3 but that is ok.

Anyway anybody (even those outside of being a Bronco fan) can be a part of this.

Also make sure to post them on this site. Last year some sent me the picks via message and it is just easier to keep track of everything if it is on this one post. It also helps if you think I didn't add correctly (it did happen last year a couple of times) that you can let me know. Don't want to rip anybody off at a chance of winning.

Not sure if anybody is still interested in doing this or not. Just let me know. I know the KFFL group has a very similar one so we could just drop this one and do that instead. Either way is fine but if interested make sure to get picks in by Thursday before the first game.

Yeah I figure let's just do the one that the KFFL guys have all been doing. I've got a busy couple of months coming up so wouldn't mind closing this one out. Heck my wife this past weekend informed me that over the next 2 months she can count maybe 1 week where I am not gone for something.
