Self-proclaimed Asshole
Beltre simply hasn't been himself this year.
Tap the breaks on Mazara a bit. Gallo probably gets a look when josh gets hurt first. And don't forget Rua.
Have your 8th inning set up man pitching an inning and a third of a blowout game.I'm not getting it. Banny is gonna wear our two new pitchers out like he did kela.
I haven't forgotten Rua, the Rangers have. He has hit like shit this year, but it's not all his fault. Mazara will get a chance next year at some point.
I think that depends on the health of the OFers otherwise he will finish at Round Rock.I haven't forgotten Rua, the Rangers have. He has hit like shit this year, but it's not all his fault. Mazara will get a chance next year at some point.
Bullpen, yes. Not sure how you can bitch about his lineup moves.
I still think Odor should be in the 2 hole.
I agree with DDJ and Elvis 100%. I also give Banny credit for realizing that Martin is severely lacking in the mental aspect of the game. I've never seen so many bad judgement throws from an outfielder and Martin seemed to always find himself in an 0-2 hole. The team clicks a lot better without the presence of Martin and Chirinos.
Going into tonight's game Choo was hitting .250 since being moved to the 2 hole and Odor and 3 hits the first game in the 7 spot then 2 then 1 and then 4 straight games going hitless. Both had lowered their averages after the All Star break compared to what they were doing when their spots in the order was reversed. It will work out from time to time but it was working better before.
Hopefully Gallardo can go more than 5 tomorrow.
He actually did well after the 1st inning in his last start but you are right.Hopefully Gallardo can go more than 5 tomorrow.
Well played game all around minus a couple errors. Choo and Elvis coming around well. Beltre even gets a smash. And yes Colby piles on another win. We draw closer. Looking good and streaking at home and Hamels has not even gotten us a win. Dutch on the horizon. Getting production from our catchers. If our pitching tightens, we could make some noise. Keeping the faith
If Choo comes anywhere near his old form I think that means means we should trade him while we can. I think it would be a mistake to wait until the next long slump and/or the next time he disrespects the manager and look to trade him then.Let's see where he ends the season. Truth is, if Texas is to be legitimate contenders next season, a Choo that returns to his career form would be a huge help.
