It's funny to me how many people forget what a really good K man he was (is). He's no Nolan, but then again who was/is? But a decent SO man in his own right.

Some people get spoiled by Darvish, but there really isn't another Darvish out there. Colby has always been a strikeout guy. Can't remember how many times we've needed a K in a tight spot and he's delivered. I remember when he threw the one hitter in Tampa a couple years ago (the one hit was a homer, lol) and didn't strike a single batter out and everyone was like...

I prefaced re slider but he is not challenging batters and pitch count was getting up. Yes! His slider is a plus out pitch More about pen being taxed and pitch counts. A pure FB pitcher is needed of our roster IMO. So yes I miss Yu

It's not that he's not challenging hitters. Looks to me like his fastball command is coming and going a bit tonight.
