No More "Bullpen Failure" - maybe
I think the front office feels we are contenders this year.
sure seems soI think the front office feels we are contenders this year.
If the trade deadline did unnerve him at this point in his career I wonder what a pennant race would do to him. I wonder if he will be unnerved while pitching for a contract. Then again he may just be pitching the way he has because that is part of who he is as a pitcher. He may just be a pitcher who will go through some very rough extended patches from time to time.maybe Gallardo can relax more now that he's staying and stop having ass starts.

They've got an outside shot at a wild card spot this year, but I think these moves say the front office thinks we can contend next season.[/QUOTE]
same here
It is more that the moves that weren't made make me think that the front office feels we are contenders. No selling whatsoever? They've got an outside shot at a wild card spot this year, but I think these moves say the front office thinks we can contend next season.

The Rangers gave up too much talent.TRSullivan reporting that Hamels and Deikman to Texas, along with some cash. Texas sends Harrison, Alfaro, NWilliams, Jake Thompson, Alec Asher, and Jerak Eickhoff.
Sad to see Alfaro go. Been hearing how he is the future at C for years now. Oh well. Thompson hurts, but I'll trade our 4/5/6 and lowers for Cole Hamels any day. Sucks about Harry, but with his injuries I'm not too sad to see him go. I am surprised an NL team wanted him. Wonder if he is flipped back to the AL. Last thing I'd want is him swinging the bat every week.

Probably as much as you do.
Go ahead and dazzle us with your knowledge.
I don't need any information from you and maybe you should just quit patting yourself on the back because youWhat do you wanna know. I've been on here long enough and conversing about this club long enough that these other guys will vouch for me. The few ranger posts you've made haven't been worth much.

might hurt yourself. On second thought please go ahead and keep doing it.![]()
Quit acting like an internet tough guy and try to explain to everyone why you think this deal was so great.
You are entitled to your lame opinion and your take on this topic isn't what I would consider stellar.Calling you on your bs doesn't equal being an Internet tough guy. I'm sorry you're a shitty poster.
Second, read the fucking forum. It's been discussed and dissected at length.
