What is the better deal?

There's mixed opinions out there... I just really like the Joe Johnson deal because not only does it get the better player... with Andy included it is the better financial deal. Lose Andy's contract + Joe Johnson's contract expires next season.

With Duncan, Aldridge, West, and Diaw as their top 4 front court players the Spurs may find themselves in desperate need of a rim protector after getting rid of splitter. Are there any left on the market? Rim protectors are usually pretty easy to find and cheap to acquire though.

I also don't think that bench makes the playoffs as starters in the east and it really isn't close.

Uhh Lol nah. Boris is most likely gone I thought.
That bench is nowhere near the Spurs have had in recent years. Last year they had those guys minus West, plus Bellineli, Joseph, Baynes. It still is good but some guys will probably have to play more minutes then they have in the past. The Spurs have always been about playing their Big 3 less and give other guys good minutes and going 12 deep. Guys will step up and will probably be deep going into the postseason but right now that bench is average.

I think Shane mentioned Andy to the Clippers the other day and I was like...meh.

Boy has my tune changed...lol

If he is healthy, he would be perfect.

I'm hoping we can get Al Jefferson next summer.

The Lakers were very smart to sign Brandon Bass.

I wanted him too.

Yeah but Crawford's salary is only 5.6 mil. If Cleveland added Varajeo and the Haywood contract that would amount to about 20 mil or so. So that would shed more cap, right? It would be a good thing for Cleveland but then LA would have to take on Varajeo's contract and an extra 5 mil for the Haywood contract. Not sure if it works like that lol.
