Plus stay away Cavs. Please
West or Mo would be huge for the depth. West is definitely not a MLE guy and Mo is a pretty good backup PG. People might not look at that as a huge pickup but it is for what we have seen last year.
That's not what joe Johnson is though. Joe Johnson is a ball stopping scorer that likes running ISO plays and shooting contested threes. He's not a catch and shoot 3 and d guy. He will only create problems on the Cavs.
Then what are you waiting for Cavs? Get him already.![]()
I believe it. After Buss passed away his son has made a mockery of the franchise.Matt Barnes...
PLEASE don't make me laugh...

Bass is another good pickup. Lakers are getting some good signs. I cant believe Im saying this, but I'm impressed especially with what they had to work with
Yeah, and to think that just a couple of days ago, people were laughing at them. They struck out on the big time FA's, but have recovered nicely with these other signings and potential trades. This should give them more credibility with future top level FA's. Especially if the young guys can actually play.
Matt Barnes...
PLEASE don't make me laugh...
Reggie Jackson got 5 years and 80 million from Detroit.
This shit is getting crazy.
I get where you are coming from, but you also have to consider the fact that nobody has been interested in going there. I'd take what Barnes says with a grain of salt, but it does seem to match up with the narrative that has been given to the public. LMA had two meeting with the front office and he never even considered them for a second. Melo barely even considered them. That makes me think the front office doesn't know how to attract free agents. Usually if a team has a pitch for a free agent, then that free agent leaves the meeting feeling impressed and considers that team. That really hasn't happened with the lakers in a while. Even the Bulls, who suck at attracting free agents had Melo second guessing staying in New York. I really do think the Lakers are heading for some dark days with the front office they have in place. They have some nice young pieces in Russell and Randle, but I could easily see them including one or both of those players in a trade for a superstar that won't get them far. They were trying to trade for Cousins, who I don't think will ever be the center piece of a title contending team. I don't think they have a clue what they are doing.and while I don't totally disagree with how Short Buss may be running things, Matt Barnes is the horses ass, no if's, and's, or maybe's. so I kinda have to consider the source...
