So I just bet $25 vCash on the USAvsAUS game and only won $5 vCash. If I bet $25, should I get more than what I bet? Like I won the bet, but still lost money....

The odds were only 1:5, so you only won 20% of what you bet. But you also got that $25 back on top of the $5 you won.

You didn't lose money. You got the 25 vcash + 5 won back for total of 30 vcash. You have to look at the odds and for USA it is 100/500 which means you have to bet 500 to win 100. So since you bet 25, you won 5. USA was a huge favorite and that is why didn't win much

okay I got it. The $25 vCash back was lagging a bit. I got on and checked the game right after bet was settled and I only saw $5 added to my vCash.

Okay this question I have pondered all the time when making bets here on the Hoop. How can we have 2 teams with 100/110. Shouldn't it be either both at 100/100 or one at 110/100 and the other at 100/110?
I understand with real money in Vegas they make it so no matter what the better does that Vegas gets the "juice" so they insure to receive some money but this is monopoly money so I don't understand why Bookie you include the juice in the bets. Yes its easier to just copy over Vegas lines for the games but once again that's including the juice. Should I be this anal about something so small (giggle small anal) probably not but I haven't had my coffee or nurse sponge bath this morning.

Agreed, but I wish "BOOKIE" would quit putting "Trap" games to bet on.......Every MLB game is a trap game and no doubt next week will be the same with CFB ramping up......How about putting up sure things with low pay outs.....I'm all for betting a arm and a leg for a sure thing then losing my ass.....But these trap games qet old quick.

People can still bet all their Hoop Cash and get the 200 should they lose even with a 100/110 line

while i agree with your wish for adding more lopsided bets from time to time(god knows i would have busted out betting against the braves many times)....doing this thing daily is a chore so whatever keeps @SportsHoopla Bookie happy works

yes but at certain point it becomes moot......you lose more money betting both sides than you do winning the reload

I take odds right from betting site so I post what they list and if it's an even match then it would be 100/110 for both teams. I try to make as realistic as possible.

I try to post the better pitching matchups and a lot of times they are closer to even bets. I can try to add some more lopsided bets.

I disagree with the CFB comment. I put money line bets on games with spreads from 3 1/2 to 10. I don't do more because it already takes a very long time posting all of the CFB bets and if you want more money lines then I would do half the games because it just takes too much time.

the bookie lies sometimes. Just like using a bookie in real life. You have to "trust" that they pay up, @SportsHoopla Bookie sometimes sends his goons, and just takes our money. Live and learn.

What standings are you speaking of? Are you talking about a pickem game?
