That's good news, he is working in drills at the OTA session today. Reporters say Agholor is also out there (he was at an NFL event last week).

Still no Earl Wolf or Marcus Smith though. Earl Wolf is injured pretty much 75% of the time. I think it may be time to admit he will never be a player.

Wolff's not that impressive when he's healthy either.

Marcus Smith looks destined for one of the inactive spots again. You'd think we'd bump out Alonso before we'd go to Marcus if Graham or Barwin got hurt.

In Smith's case I will give him the benefit of the doubt as he is not injured all the time. But he is not off to a rousing start, for sure.

I liked him as a prospect and I would still like to see how the Eagles plan on using him (do they have a plan?). But we have a nice stable of linebackers now and Graham has taken the spot that Marcus was drafted for.

We actually are thin at OLB. Our depth is at ILB.

Thurmond first team safety along with Carroll at CB. Isn't it time to start questioning the drafting of Eric Rowe??[sarcasm]

Jordan Matthews playing outside alot. Agholor looking good. Tebow runs the read option better than any other Eagle.

Yeah, looks like Thurmond is going to get every shot to start at safety. I still think Rowe will wind up starting somewhere out there though. We shall see.

I heard Tebow was an absolute Shit show throwing the football. What a joke!

Yea by all accounts Tebow looks good running the read option but cannot make any downfield throws. And he still has a terrible wind-up motion which takes forever, despite working with a QB guru to improve his mechanics. He sucks.

Bradford looked rusty today, which I think is expected. But Sanchez looked good and already the reporters are talking up a QB controversy since both got the same reps. Sanchez and Matthews connected on a 50-yard bomb over Maxwell.

Matthews didn't do much at OTA's last year. Rowe will play a lot eventually.

Bradford is at his floor now and Sanchez at his ceiling. This won't be as close in a couple months.

I don't know if there are very many reporters you can trust on evaluating Tebow. It seems like everyone...good or bad...sees what they want to see. Some say he throws much better...some not so much. I expect this drama will likely continue into August when we will be able to see for ourselves.

In any event it is the first week of June and there is alot of learning for a QB especially to do in a new system. Kelly does seem to think outside the box better than most, so I can see some possibilities that he may keep him just for a specific role or two. It seems everyone agrees that he runs the read option great.

Imagine that 20 point lead in the 4th quarter and you just want to run that clock. In comes Tebow and Ryan Matthews and the Read Option formation. Your not fooling anyone, but then in these situations you rarely are. Everyone knows you are going to run the football anyways, but now you have an already tired and frustrated defense that has to now deal with a dual threat running play with Tebow and Matthews. Could be a great way of closing out a game.

If I am Kelly, I may want to keep Tebow for just that purpose. He would be my number 3 game day QB, and assuming he likes Barkley, he would be stashed on the inactive most weeks barring an injury to Sanchez or Bradford.

It is nice to see Bradford is on schedule and I look forward to seeing him in this offense. I am very optimistic that this works out. As far as Tebow goes, I will wait until I see him in the pre season games before I make any judgement on him. Sorry, the battle for the emergency quarterback job isn't that interesting to me. :D
