yes, they probably have...thats just lake effect snow, not an actual "storm". extremely localized, no wind, no flooding.

shit, that 10 feet they got was literally in a 3 square mile area or so. if you went 15 mins east there was nothing.

driven thru plenty. its not all that bad.

what buffalo gets is a lot of snow dumped fast on a tiny area. Nor'eaters are unique to NE's geography like lake effect snow is, but it also comes with winds reaching (or exceeding) hurricane force, coastal flooing and erosion, etc.

shit, the 3 foot storm we got here...winds at my place were in the 50 mph+ range...hurricane force on the cape.

born n raised here, been on this rock 39 years...never saw a stretch like that in my life. 4 mega storms in 17 days.

at one point, the snow piles along my driveway were over 10 feet high. a basketball hoop was burried.

Of the 5 snowiest winters there I have somehow managed to miss 4 out of 5 of them. The only one I was present for was 1969 and I was 2.

I'm responsible for the 4 SB wins. All 4 have occurred while I was employed with this company and living in NC. The 2 losses to the Giants happened while I was not employed by them and living in MA. My return to this company in April of last year was the clear difference.

I better be getting a ring this time.
