I think we all think we can play arm chair GM, I always say i missed my calling as a scout, only thing is I can't scout Qbs, I'm wrong on Qbs far too often. Then again so if half the GM's in the NFL.

They specifically hired this guy because he thinks differently than just about everyone else. The fact that he makes different decisions should not be a shock and is why they hired him. It really probably has been a bit of waste to have Roseman limiting him these last couple of years.

The big philosophy change I see going on here is taking this thing as much more of a year to year deal. In the previous regime, they built slowly and methodically. Drafted conservatively and signed guys to long term contracts that were nearly always played out - good or bad. Chip is looking at things much more from a what can you do for me this year perspective. As such, he is cutting guys that Roseman never would have and taking some chances on older guys and injury risks.

If done poorly, this could have a very negative impact on the team. Stability is valuable in attracting good talent. Poorly done you are the Washington Redskins. Done well, you are the New England Patriots.

The previous approach was much more Steelers or Giants like. Guys could look forward to long careers there.

If Bradford stays healthy, I don't have any doubt he can run Chip's offense at a high level. Oklahoma had a lot of the similar concepts Chip runs in his offense. Bradford had some of the best arm talent I'd seen when he was coming out of the draft. High football IQ, quick decision maker, big arm with great accuracy and ball placement -- big time arm talent. Let's hope he stays healthy and can fulfill his college promise in a much better system and environment then he was used to in the past.

The eagles organization is left with no leverage, studs to build a franchise around, and will spend 5 years rebuilding while being a perennial bottom dweller because Chip gave them all away for free because men making millions a year that are one of the best at what they do, didn't act like college kids without 2 nickels to rub together and are afraid to lose starting time?

I am neither on or off the Chip wagon. Chip has NOTHING to do with being on the EAGLES bandwagon. That's a lifetime commitment. he good, the bad and the ugly. End of story.

I think it's ridiculous to accept everyone anyone does blindly just to be officially 'on' a bandwagon. Even if I support someone fully, I'm going to think for myself and question every move. Some I will agree with other I will not. I have had both concerns about some of chips moves so far; and been estatic about other things he does. Time will tell. I'm going to continue to look at things with a critical thought process; have my own opinion; support Chip and the eagles; throw snowballs at the things I disagree with he does; and in the end, hope for the best and root them on. What else can a fan truly do?

I'm actually calming down now. If we sign Murray, we still have needs at WR, S, and OL. I believe we still have cap cash remaining where we could get either S (Parker) or OL.

The thing with Bradford is that Chip seems to have wanted him for a while. I'm willing to try it. I still think we pickup a young QB in the draft.
