Field of Dreams, Major League, Eight Men Out. (No offense to The Natural or Bull Durham, I just wanted to mention the other two.)

The absolute BEST baseball movie ever made was "Fear Strikes Out" with Karl Malden and Anthony Perkins. The story of Jimmy Piersall was an awesome movie. If you haven't seen it I would highly recommend it!

61* was great. Im a sucker fer Barry Pepper.

And my mom always drops random Sandlot quotes, that counts fer sumthin'.

Not gunna lie, I enjoyed Million Dollar Arm too.

But do I ever love see in' Ricky Vaughn jerseys at games. Especially if the Indians aren't even playin'.

Baseball makes for the best Cinema anyways. As Billy Beane said, "How can you not be Romatic about baseball?" ( It was Brad Pitt, but he's better lookin'. (Poor Art Howe.))

The best I've seen is "Bang The Drum Slowly".
My favorite one about kids playing is "The Sandlot".
The worst ever was the one with John Goodman as the Babe, holy cow what a piece of crap!

Field of Dreams, Major League, oh and I liked Angels In the Outfield as a kid. A young Joseph Gordon Levitt was in it.

For me it's The Natural, Field of Dreams and Bull Durham.

A great top 3. I'm a sucker for the Natural even if it seems hokey sometimes. Great Music (Randy Newman was robbed)

A 4th for me is "A League of their Own"

Some great lines and a great story of people loving the game.

The first Baseball movie I saw as a kid was "It Happens Every Spring" which I still like.
About a chemistry professor who accidentally creates a solution that repels wood.
Comedy ensues as he becomes a Major League Pitcher..

I liked The Bad Lieutenant. Not strictly a baseball movie but set against the backdrop of the NL Championship series between the Dodgers and Mets. The best part is they changed the outcome to make the Mets win.
