Serena was pushed. Had to work for it even if it was straight sets. Not going to be any easier next macth either.

I thought the commentators had a valid question about who might be ranked higher at year's end, Keys or Bouchard.

If Keys can play like that she won't lose to many. Lots of power and I was impressed.

nice win for serena yesterday over keys

serena has started slow in every match except against cibulkova. she'd better not do that against sharapova.

i give sharapova a 60/40 advantge over Serena, and I really think this will be her first win over Serena in more than a decade. she's defending better than i've ever seen her do, and her serve isn't a big weakness anymore.

glad to see murray win last night as well. it's amazing how much he shrinks the court on his opponent. there's nowhere safe to go. very much like nole was a couple of years ago.
