BS that DET hasn't won much? Because it's true? Stafford has never beaten a winning team on the road. I've done nothing but bring up legitimate arguments, and you all have done nothing but throw insults at me. I haven't insulted anybody once. This is unbelievable. Can't have an honest debate with Cowboy fans I guess?

No, It's BS because it's a stupid argument. No one cares if DET won much. They made the playoffs this year, so your argument is fucking stupid.

Clearly you can see it's a PI.. You can't just run through a receiver and not look back at the ball.. That's the rule ... Now if the receivers made contact then offset and replay the down if you feel that way... But you don't make the call, have Dez run onto the field WITHOUT HIS HEMET!... cough cough... And then pick the flag up with NO explanation to why... Dallas fan's W#$^@ off if you feel that was fair... If anything replay 3rd down ...

BS, you made a claim multiple times that something was allowed. You didn't over-exaggerate, you either lied or were talking out your ass.

Drop this "I've done nothing but discuss the game with a level head" because no one is buying it, troll.

I over-exaggerated the rule. Nowhere did I say that it was okay to hold or tackle someone from behind. I've seen Revis and Sherman both just straight knock WRs down. That's what I meant by that. I never said anything from behind was okay. If I did, I didn't realize it and that was my bad. But good god you guys just won't die down will you? I haven't done anything wrong. I'm not trolling. I'm just debating the game.

So did the Ryan Lindey led Cardinals and the 7-8-1 Carolina Panthers. Your point? Making the playoffs doesn't make you good. There are a few teams that didn't make the playoffs that are better than those 2.

Let me get home to my computer and I'll paste something up. Thanks Misko.

If you want to see him post with it, you will have to go to the Penalty Box at the bottom :suds:

DET turned the ball over, were gifted it back, then did it again on the final drive.

It's their own fault. Their fans no it. The anti_dallas ones are the ones that can't deal with it.

Yes it is hard to overcome some bad calls. It is also hard to overcome two fumbles, one of which we got back. Then also having a missed FG after a INT. Det could only muster up a FG there for a 6 point swing. Capitalize on that missed FG and make them pay for it later. I did not see one ref miss all those tackles in second half.

The one that pissed me off was not going for it on 4th and 1... you want to win? Show me and go for it. Had been runnning the ball with ease most of the day or at least worth less than 3 feet to go.

Yes Garrett went for it on 4th and it worked...had Martin not shanked no way Dalles goes for it pinned that far back.

just read a copy of the the pool report, questions asked by reporters to officials:

Head official says the official behind the play threw the flag: the linesman in front of the play said it was not interference.

The reporter said it was face-guarding wasnt it? The HO said face guarding is not pass interference in the NFL (it is in college football).

Anyway, that is their description given to reporters.

You're right on most of this, but the defensive holding call on the linebacker on the slip screen was completely wrong. Within 5 yards on the line, any contact goes. Its a rule. And there was also 2 other occasions where Dallas players ran onto the field begging to the refs taking their helmets off. Not counting the obvious one on Dez. Totaling up to around 50-60 yards worth of penaties after that 8:18 mark in the 4th quarter. The game was clearly swung in favor of Dallas by this. No argument against it.

BS. You can't pull a guy down, even within 5 yards. :L

Its within 5 yards of the line. Its ok for DBs to grab WRs within that 5 yard limit. So its ok for him too.

Within 5 yards, anything goes. Its how the rules are. I've seen Revis and Sherman both literally tackle WRs within those 5 yards.

Nowhere did you say it was ok to hold or tackle from behind? There it is, your own words saying "anything goes" and when multiple people point out that you can't tackle a player from behind you claim within 5 yards you can. It was CLEARLY stated about not being able to tackle a player from behind and you said they could. There was NO mistake on your part, you just don't know the god-damned rules.

Stop fucking lying about things that we can scroll back and read.

My point is that you are an idiot for saying that a playoff win is pointless because of a teams history. A playoff win is a playoff win.

Dude the call was made... The chains were moved ... They never gave and explanation ... I"ve been watching football my entire life, I"ve never seen a call like that... At the very least offset the penalty and replay the down... It was pass interference by the way... You know it and I know it... If you don't look back and you make contact and run through a receiver it's a PI 100 percent of the time... Again, if there was some doubt on whether the receiver pushed off, then offset and replay the down... Instead Detroit got no explanation and it was 4th down...

I'm not arguing the fact that that whole flag/flag picked up was bad.

but face guarding is not a penalty

Okay I said any contact. But everyone knows you can't from behind. That's obvious. I'm not lying. I did not say anything about from behind. I'm sorry that it seems to bother you so much that it caused you to slur at me.

I disagree. Let's say you just beat the Packers without any controversial flags. That's a lot different. You can say a win is a win all you want, but that doesn't make it true. That's why strength of schedule and things like that exist.

Bad call, but Detroit still had chances to win that game. I wouldn't call them chokers like some here have done and I think Dallas deserves a lot of credit for winning.

Wrong. If we beat the Packers this week and then next week beat Detroit exactly how we did today in round 2, the Detroit win would be bigger. Winning a playoff game is a very big deal, especially for teams like Dallas is right now with some obvious weaknesses.

a playoff win...is a playoff win.

You have now switched from saying Dallas' win is not impressive because DET hasn't won much to now saying it is because of a flag.

Pathetic.
