It is easier to change rules when they want things to follow an agenda, isn't it?
No games can end in a tie, so playing each other is in fact the best way to crown a champ. Baylor is the champ in your scenerio, since they actually beat TCU. Conf title games aren't really a good way to crown a champ, mizzou would be ranked 4th at best in the SEC west.

CCG format is not a no-questions champ.
hardly.
If a 5 loss team beats an undefeated team... there is a HUGE question as to which is the best team of that Conference... whoch IS what the Champ is supposed to represent.
bad logic, bro. ruhl badd.

"Another reason using a committee to pick teams rather than rewarding that win conference titles is a complete and utter fail."
The thing that gets me is not only is the slogan for the conference One True Champion, but you hear the fans of Big 12 teams bashing the way OTHER leagues do it. YET now that the 'wrong' team isn't going to be the champion due to head to head, "this is why conference champions shouldn't be guaranteed". Sooooo what you are saying is, the Big 12's champion regardless of playing all teams doesn't matter. Kind of funny is all since that is the biggest argument for the round robin format is to "know who is the best".
It is still a black eye on the committee if they select TCU. If they select TCU, just as I predicted last year, this system is a sham.

Its not a sham. It is just incomplete. Why I have always said the playoffs need to be larger.
TCU getting in over Baylor is equal to 2011 when Alabama made it in over Oklahoma State. It is on the same level.
I will be the biggest Kansas St. fan you've ever seen this weekend.
