Those teams fans deserve something after the last 25 years of, well I'm not sure what to call it. Can't call it football. Hey Leggs your Packers are peaking way to early. If you think you've seen a line that can't block, wait till you punt to us on Thursday afternoon.
I fear Jared Allen and Willie Young might kill Matt Stafford. (Like Peppers did a few years back). If Riley Reif can't play, or goes down mid game, it's one of the worst tackle tandems there is.

I can understand why people are concerned about Detroits defensive front. And I don't see Forte controlling the game on the ground. But my concerns as a Lion fan aren't much different.

Peaking in mid-to-late November is too early? I'd say it's just right.

Lions have two things to play for, first place and to end the dreadful december drought.

Megatron is supposed to play, Bush was a game time decision last game, but three fourths of the lions starting secondary might be out again.

What do we think the pass to run ratio will be in the first half, 20-2?

Megatron has been playing most of the year. The problem is that he's just been rather pedestrian.

And yes, I'd be very surprised if we are able to run the ball. I have a bad feeling this will be a game where Trestman abandons the run.

As I said in an earlier post,I believe Forte will be better used as a back coming out for screen passes.
That and we will be trying to play catchup all game.

Detroit will come out firing to get a big lead with Calvin oing most o the receiving.
If McCown can how for over 300 in th rain,Matt can throw for 300 easily in a dome.Possibly for 400 if we just somehow keep it close. With Bush injured,Detroit will be looking for more passing.

I think Fairley is questionable as well, but Trestman will still abandon the run. Even if the bears can wear some awful throwbacks that look like drumsticks that might get Suh thrown out of the game, then they would still not run the ball.

I mean, to be fair. McCown was battered and beaten all game. That 300 yard stat is pretty misleading. It was more out of the TB offense's desperation.

Stafford hasn't been great either, and their O-line is crap. I don't see either team putting up many points, but our offense will make enough mistakes that I believe in the second half they'll pull away and win by 10 or so. A 27-17 or 24-13 kind of game.
