I don't mind the really old ones. And the kinda funny ones (like the Minny-Iowa pig thing).

Ours seem like they're trying too hard. We now have the "Heroes Trophy" and the "Freedom Trophy." I'm gonna put a bet in that our next one will be the "Liberty Trophy" or something else patriotic.

The Big 10 needs trophy games so their teams can have something for their trophy cases. They sure as shit aren't getting any important ones.

I like the way this trophy looks. Anything is better than that piece of crap trophy for the Nebraska/Iowa winner.

But if you are going to make a trophy make something funny or cool. Like a brass pig or a giant axe or a spittoon or an old oaken bucket.

Somebody else said it should be the red jersey trophy. Make it look like whatever but the real takeaway in that the winner gets to wear the red home jerseys home OR away the following year. That would get fan bases riled. Seeing the badgers wear red in Lincoln? Whoa Nellie!
