A few things: I dislike showboating - Especially this one because it lacks good taste, IMO, (no pun intended) and these examples are when it ties the game or with 1:37 left. It didn't end the game, so how big are guts, here? Plus, doesn't it takes big balls to take a big shot regardless of result? How does making it change that? I want to see someone do this dance after they miss. When someone asks why, say it was because he wasn't afraid to take the shot. (Alternatively, they could do the dance without seeing if they made it, but then people would incorrectly assume he thought he made it.)

Haha. Both Nelson's (Orlando in 2013) and Kevin Martin's (Minnesota) teams lost! Chicago got the last laugh both times. Wait until the buzzer and act like you've been there. I don't remember Jordan celebrating early or idiotically.

I like Sam Cassell. He was a good PG.

Cassell was the oldest 1st time All-Star, age 34.

Complete NBA All-Star Game Players List ordered by Debut Age

He should have been one earlier, but it was hard with all the guards in his time, like Iverson, Ray Allen, etc.

Too bad Camby and Andre Miller never became late 1st-time All-Stars.

Sam Cassell: Gaining Recognition | THE OFFICIAL SITE OF THE MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES

Now in his mid-30s, Cassell says he once sought out former Utah Jazz guard John Stockton on his secret for longevity. "I asked him how does he do it, and he said, 'Sam, I try not to gain a lot of weight in the offseason. I don't want to come into camp over 200 pounds.' "

The 185-pound Cassell took Stockton's advice, and it's helped him average more than 38 minutes per game this season. "I take care of my body a little bit more," the guard pointed out. "To say the older you get, the slower you get and lose some of your abilities — I beg to differ with that."

And he gets fresher as the game wears on: Cassell has owned the fourth quarters this season, shooting 54 percent from the field in the final stanza of the past 38 games. He has had 13 games this season in which he scored 10-plus fourth-quarter points, and is averaging around nine points in the decisive quarter.

Cassell says that his fourth-quarter skills were honed during his first two pro seasons in Houston, where he was a valuable reserve on two Rockets championships (1994 and 1995). "I played in the second and fourth quarters," Cassell recalled.

Anyone who seeks out Stockton for advice is good in my book, unless it's Mark Jackson, Byron Malone-has-no-heart Scott, I'd-rather-move-farther-away-from-my-daughter's-treatment-center-than-play-for-Utah-Fisher, or Deron Run-Sloan-Away Williams.

Thanks.

Who are some players who have sought Malone's help?

What about the other player in your favorite 3 Jazz players? (Who was it again? Maybe Hornacek)?

Karl Malone. His first person sought out his third person for advice on how to change MHSL82's and my perspective that Stockton was the best Utah Jazz player and he (Karl Malone) and Karl Malone second. However, he's ignored my and MHSL82's assertion that Duncan is a center and Malone is the best power forward of all time. Stats, too, will show it even if you considered Duncan a forward, because, you know, post-season accomplishments mean nothing and blocks and rebounds don't count either.

I kid, I kid.

So are you going to tell me who your top 3 all-time Jazz players are, and what players have sought Malone's help? And how good of help do you think he provided?

1. John Stockton
2. Karl Malone.
3. Jeff Hornacek (though I won't call him the third best, just third favorite).
4. Howard Eisley.
5. Just kidding.
6. I meant, Jacque Vaughn.
7. Again, kidding.
8. Garrett.
9. Kidding, but I did like him.
10. No, not Jason Kidd.

As to what players sought Malone out, I'm not answering that.

Because I don't know. You're just trying to bait me into answering your honest question and I won't be baited into answering a question I don't know. Oh, wait, I did answer it. I don't know.

And when will it be time to stop Karl Malone to # 1 and Stockton to # 2, since you rotate them?

Who is "Garret"?

You had too many "kidding" jokes in that post.

I'll watch this this weekend. But I also don't care what Derrick Rose does.

Yeah, I don't care either - he actually doesn't celebrate. I only thought about his reaction because of this thread - I thought you making this thread indicated you were interested how different players reacted (not specifically Rose, of course).

I am interested in how different players react. Just not Rose.
