I haven't been able to watch the games this season so I have a question. Is the defensive line missing Chris Long so much that they can't get any sacks, bad reffing or both? I heard that Quinn is getting double and triple teamed and yet we still can't get sacks on anyone.

I've watched it several times and I believe Hill is applauding Cook for shoving Davis. He even taps Hayes on the shoulder towards the end of the confrontation. This is a divided team right now. So much talent being wasted by total unprecedented mismanagement. Bradford should be happy he is not a part of this Charley Foxtrot...

I'm not sure what Hill is clapping for... but he's looking at the field and clapping before Cook even touches Davis.

UVA, there were several times Quinn was all alone and he was getting owned by the Dallas LT. He did get double-teamed but he hasn't shown up in the other two games either. Hayes has done little and they miss C. Long on a number of levels. One is he brings it just as bad as Quinn so opponents can't double team both players. The other thing Long brings is his intensity, work ethic, integrity, and pride in doing his best every play. This D-line appears lost because he is absent. We have just two sacks in three games as a defense and none by the D-Line.

I looked at it again and you're right he is clapping before Cook gets to Davis.:10:

That's why I always liked the guy all the way back to his college days. He never took a play off and was always a leader. He reminds me a lot of London Fletcher in that aspect. While I hated the other teams he played for after he was let go by the Rams, I still respected the hell out of him because he never gave up on plays and was always vocal about things in a way that inspired his teammates.

Its tough to really see or speculate on what really took place, is Hill guilty? Nobody knows for sure, what I do know is that Jarad Cook did apologize. He was pissed at Davis for something. Overall, its not good when your best offensive players are cracking under pressure. It could happen again, unless Fisher takes control of these guys. The coach IMO needs to clean this up!

Like I have stated numerous times before Zeke, this team does not have much mental discipline or professional integrity and Cook is one of the more blatant offenders with his dropping passes and all. The numerous penalties again this year proves this and Fisher has done little to change that. Granted, the refs are demonstrating an increasing bias toward the Rams but the players continue to pull this stupidity usually when we are close to a TD. Just little or no mental discipline and Fisher needs to change that with fines. That'll stop it or totally blow up this team.

The way Fisher fixes it is play Hill, if that happens I burn my jersey and watch the Cardinals and this after 50+ years.:L No way Hill takes back over, Davis deserves to keep playing, anyone think Hill puts up 24 points (31-7- Pick 6), I don't.:gaah:

From what I read, Cook was pissed at himself and didn't want to talk to anyone, so he shoved/walked through Davis when he tried to talk to him. Other than the end result (pushing the QB), it's a good thing that Cook was pissed at himself; he should've been.

I agree Shopson, but then you don't turn around and hit the QB just because your pissed at yourself. That's flippin' insane and wussified. Sounds like an easy cover to take out your frustrations so it becomes acceptable. This frikin' whack job ought to be flippin' burgers!!

I think the early bye week could help us. We've been struggling. Davis can gain more contorl of offense, and hopefully (like you all said) the defense gets their asses kicked cause they are playing piss poor instead of playing like a top 10 defense

According to Cook, he was pissed at himself and didn't want to hear anything from anyone. I don't think Davis said anything negative to him, but Cook just wanted to be alone and fume I guess.

Davis said something, im terrible at reading lips but they are moving before the shove.

I hate to say it: But fischer and staff need to go and we need to start cutting more guys again.

Whatever the reason, it's still unprofessional. If this kind of behavior is going to be tolerated without any repercussions in the way of discipline, it sets a bad precedent and a bad example for the rest of the team.

Like so many on this team, this guy has not lived up to pre-signed expectations or to his huge salary. The thing everybody understands in every profession is consequences. It's long past the time that this team, players AND coaches AND management are held accountable instead of being given a "that's OK, we'll get them next time" pat on the back.

All I'll say to those of you who want to give this team the benefit of the doubt after the last three years of idiotic drafting and idiotic coaching is, "I certainly wouldn't have you coaching or managing my team". Go find some pee-wee girls volleyball team somewhere to coach.

I find it peculiar that the same folks around here clamoring for 'fire' from these players are the same folks asking for the axe to chop this so called chump down to size for showing the very passion they've been asking for from these players...

Passion is a two edged sword...

As the old saying goes.......

Watch what you wish for, you just might get it!

To me, it looked like Davis went to console Jared for dropping the pass as he walked by. I for one have no problem with Cookie being pissed off. He should be pissed off in that scenario and sometimes when you're hot like that you just need a little space. The last guy he needed telling him its okay was the guy who delivered the TD throw right in his hands. I'm sure to Cookie, it wasn't okay and at that moment he just didn't want to hear it.

I'd hate to break it to some of you but this crap happens all of the time. It's only when the media catches it people think there's "something terribly wrong" inside the organization.

I played football in HS, it happened at least 2 to 3 times a year. It happens more when you're team is not winning.

I teach Brazilian Jujitsu and we train as a team. I've seen people come to fishacuffs on the mat over some stupid shit. And it usually happens with some of our best students.

It's called men being men. Some of you think Cook is an asshole and he should be cut. NONSENSE!

100% of the time is the guilty parties always shake hands and hug it out afterwards. It's part of the game my friends.

For what its worth seems to me there are better ways to convey or express ones problems with our team than the Rams suck, stink etc.. I understand the frustration that goes with being a Rams fan. But don't we see enough of that crap from trolls and 9er ,Seahawk, pats fans. I am going to try and start a vent thread after every game if I cant please someone else do. That way maybe we can contain the heat till most cool off. As far as the insults and personal attacks well that imo is beyond me. :suds:
