I didn't hear it to this extent about Abreu. Also, Abreu didn't have an injured shoulder that knocked his power numbers way down in his last year. Abreu didn't cost nearly as much as Tomas is expected to make either.

I was all in on Abreu, but Tomas gives me reason for concern. He might be fine, but I am not nearly as eager to get Tomas as I was Abreu last offseason.

Didn't Abreu have some sort of injury concern?

He did, bursitis in his shoulder cost him 23 games, so I knew I wasn't crazy

Looks like we're not going to be able to eliminate Oakland..... What we can do is make sure the WC game is in Kansas City or better yet Detroit.

Including tonight's game which is not even halfway over Seattle has given up 40 runs in 4 games. Did not see that happening with the starters they have. Having meaningful games I guess was too much for them to handle.
