I just picked up McKinnon in my money league. And then quickly offered the Adrian Peterson owner McKinnon for Brandon cooks. If Peterson goes down the RBs are flex options at best!!!

Neither. . The odds of a suspension coming out of this during the 2014 season are long. Unless Goodell foolishly jumps to another misinformed decision and digs himself a deeper hole

Seriously though, it is obviously way early to tell,

Given the way the NFL has handled the Greg Hardy case (obviously different) what are the chances that AP misses significant time (if any) this year?

McKinnon is the better gamble. I agree asiata will probably be the one but they will likely use a 3 man RB by committee between Patterson asiata s and McKinnon. And as a small speed back McKinnon is the most likely to break the big plays. And then if Peterson comes back mckinon's role will still be needed.

maybe long term, McKinnon, but I agree, Asiata for this week, since AP is DEACTIVATED for WEEK 2!

This is just a hypothetical thread for those of us preparing for the worst.

I posted this on the "reheated Rice" thread... If Rice was suspended indefinitely for "domestic" abuse then it stands to reason that AP could get the same for "child" abuse which some may view as worse.

Hopefully all. Of course that is just in a nutshell. There are degrees to both but generally violence against a child is the worst generic violence you can do

Until we find out length of suspension, I like Asiata better.
More experienced, and probably less exciting, but we are still only in week 2.
Takes a few weeks before even good rookie RBs learn the ropes and get comfortable at the pro level.

McKinnon is too much of an unknown, and MIN seems to trust Asiata enough that I'd rather roll the dice on him getting 3 GL TDs again than McKinnon becoming the next Sproles.
