New Banner Idea

So, I worked on this a little the other day and finished it up this evening. I like the logo banner - it's very nicely crafted - but I like a banner with the players in it more.

So I created this one that has NHL legends on the left (Richard, Orr, Lemieux, Gretzky, Plante, and Howe) and the reigning winners of the NHL's top awards on the right (Keith, Rask, Ovechkin, MacKinnon, and Crosby).

What do you guys think? Should we do another poll off? (either way mods, time to change it up)

Definitely a bonus, but seriously that came out real nice. I really dig the NHL logo with the flags. It's not boring, it's not gaudy, has a nice classic look to it. Fits our style here at the Hoop.

It's great but why an avalanche player? Can you throw in an old school sabre for boss? Love the USA/Canada middle

Because he won the Calder. Banner has the Hart, Ross, Vezina, Norris, Calder, and Richard winners.

And yeah, I was thinking of putting in a little "Boss" easter egg somewhere in there. Good idea. If the mods or users decide to use it I'll toss that in there.

I will say I do like the Boss tribute banner. I hope we can find a place for it to remain.
