I would wait for the investigation to take place before passing any judgement.

Though considering how many people labeled Kaepernick a rapist when his incident happened I doubt many people will wait.

Any time a public figure even has an investigation against them it usually becomes public. Just like when the whole Kaepernick thing broke loose and everybody was going crazy about that to only find out Kaepernick was not actually involved or charged with anything.

Heck this summer saw the Broncos CB Aqib Talib have the Dallas police tweet that they had arrested him. His agent called him in the middle of the night to ask him if he was in jail. Come to find out it was his brother that they had arrested but they wanted the attention that they had arrested a big time athlete. Didn't even check to see if they actually had him or not.

Now having said that the publicity from this won't do Lynch any favors at this time. I agree with WizardHawk that if true this could be the death blow to his career not only in Seattle but possibly his NFL career. He is getting up there in age for a RB so any negative marks against an aging RB doesn't usually sit well with teams. Have to see how it goes though.

Also TDs3nOut I could see even if he has a great season and nothing comes of this him being cut. Next year he would give them a $7 million saving for the Cap if cut. With the FA's and signings they will need to make after this year it just makes sense to sign a guy that can help for the next 4-5 years compared to a guy that might give them one more good year.

Yes , people just rush to judgment and Kap took the heat on that. I'm above reproach  and will wait to see what the real story is unlike some other posters who bashed Kap without any knowledge of the facts.

No facts yet. Let it play out. I'm surprised this news got out without any investigation yet. The Media really needs some new rules about delivering news like this without any facts.

Amen brotha... These guys are such targets, and some women in this world are less than honest .... Putting it lightly...

Speaking for myself, waiting for the details, one being is it true. I didn't think you were posting on SportsHoopla any more. Or did this juicy news pull you back, so you could talk about it.

no I post in the 49ers forum and occasionally in the nfl forum you just don't see me cus your pansy ass blocked me from the seahawks threads for making valid points that went against the seahawks homer views.

If and when it turns out that he's guilty I'll call for Lynch's head too. The article I read barely said anything other than there was an incident at about 2:30 AM and a detective has been assigned to investigate.

"Bellevue Police said a detective was assigned to the case Monday morning and was gathering facts, including whether Lynch was actually involved."

No one has been charged yet so it could be that nothing comes of this. In Aldon's case there is no doubt about what he did. For now that is the difference.

like seahawks fans did over TMZ falsely claiming kap was a rapist

where are all the seahawk fans that were calling for aldon smiths head because he is a repeat offender??? wonder how they feel about marshawns latest run in.
Did you bother to read the post above this? :L god some of you 9'ers are just ridiculous.
Even if he puts up another season similar to what he's done each of the past three years? Might not be too easy to replace that kind of production.
His contract for next year is near 9million and he is aging. Everything the team has done to date is to have the pieces in place to replace him.

He could have a great year and still be cut. Yes.

And with his DUI and whatever this MIGHT be (Come on jarrod, lets see what it is before we play the attack a seahawk card) will not help them decide to risk paying that much for an aging and perhaps risky player with recent issues.

12 posts since May 1st, that includes all forums. Mostly in TMZ style threads like this one. It's a shame you don't have any idea how to post on other team boards. I gave you numerous chances, but hey I'm not blaming you for jumping in on this, considering the Kaep investigation got plenty of play on the NFL general board.
Have at it.

So you hate Seahawks for trolling your team and you are doing what right now exactly? :L

No wonder you were banned from the Hawks board. Not the brightest bulb in the lightbright box are you. :bawling:

If true this has to be the death nail for his career in Seattle. Think most feel he was going to be cut after this season anyway, but after he's had a DUI and then this while also aging and wanting too much money? Can't see them keeping him past this season.

Depending if this is some thing really ugly or just some minor thing, I don't see this ending his career at all, in the NFL. In fact if it leads to being able to cut and resign next year at a bargain price, he may actual extend his career with the Seahawks, certain not going to end his career....unless it turns out to be real ugly, which I doubt.

Lol. "I was just making valid points"

I call bullshit. We don't roll like the niner board and ban posters that are making valid points. Dont lie, you were starting shit... Kinda like now.

Way too much can happen in the next 6-8 months to determine anything now.

the NFL historically doesn't give a damn about the players in the sense that they don't really punish most of them to some great extent no matter what stupid junk they do. They say they test for stuff but guys still do it all the time and it gets brushed under the rug. They don't really give a damn about PEDs and such.

We know the truth. They won't punish him because they will instead make him work it off by being a pawn in their game fixing schemes. In exchange for not being suspended he will have to directly be involved in throwing at least 3 games with fumbles or other major mistakes.

No Seahawks fan with half a brain said anything on the Kaepernick issue. The only hilarious thing was the fact he was with a Seattle WR (former maybe? can't remember) and some of the jokes on it.

I even personally said on these forums it was a non-story and the stupid chick was just looking to get paid.

Lots of disrespect amongst one another in this thread. Funny nonetheless.

I believe it was Ricardo Lockette and he is still on the team.
