It's ironic he had a fair season last year, sucks this year, and all the while going Hollywood.

Two others come to my mind in this same vain: recently, Rory Mcllroy...although she isn't Hollywood, famous and in the news nonetheless and not so recently, Andre Agassi.

Both of these guys game fell off dramatically until they severed the outside spotlight.

Me too but attendance has certainly dropped off. Think about some of the folks who you remember and now have moved on. Good posters too.

I'm with ya, and I usually am pretty good about attempting to persevere. But, like last nights game, just made me miserable. No entertainment factor at all.

And I hung in, albeit painfully, until Wash PH for JPA with the bases loaded.

Gotta draw my line somewhere.

I could see his point if he had another lefty like JPA but Adducci is not the guy. Time for Wash to go. Not posters.

And to make matters worse, he brings in Aducci and the Rays immediately change pitchers. So we gained none of that lefty vs righty BS.

Ya gotta leave the power hot bat in the game when trailing by 6 in the 8th with the bases loaded.

He was out managed again. Hopefully FO sees this. If they don't we are in real trouble. Most agree, I think, Wash needs to move on. In fairness, injuries caused the losing season but continuing blunders like last night suggest it's time. Some will not agree but not many and don't care.

Don't see it happening this season. Not disagreeing with ya, but I just don't see JD pulling that trigger. Especially since he's already come out and admitted the FO didn't do their job as good as they could have in the off season.

I feel pretty confident, if not somewhat disappointed, Wash will be at the helm for 2016.

I think a lot of the ones who have moved on are the ones who simply can't stand to read or hear anything negative about their team. They can put up with it before whatever is wrong has had a chance to cause the team to lose a lot, but once the losing becomes the norm they have to abandon these boards. Ironically they are the ones who used to accuse those who disagreed with them of being bandwagon fans. I haven't been back on this board in quite a awhile until recently, but I know it is that way on other boards.

Myself, I just love to talk about the Rangers because I am passionate about my team no matter how good or how bad they are. That doesn't mean I think everything the management of the team does is good though. Whether I am saying something positive about the team or something negative about the team I say it because I care about the team. I enjoy discussing with others about how this team can get better.
