no ~fear~......NFL-NWRK will repeat every game the rest of the week/weekend,.....and I most certainly DO NOT care to see that pats/skinz game again.

I think I read somewhere that the Dark Lord hates preseason games. He puts out the JV, protects his starters and flips off the NFL at the same time. Like "You can make us play these games, but you can't make us put out any effort to make them entertaining."

Thats not it at all, he just doesn't want to give away anything in preseason. Why let the other teams video tape your real plays with starters.

Didn't see the Rams/Saints game and honestly don't care to see it. But the lead story on NFL.com and ESPN both seem to be Sam. Guy had 1 tackle and 1 QB pressure, very pedestrian numbers especially against 2nd and 3rd string. If it wasn't for the Rams being a social experiment this season, Sam would not even rate a mention.

I would think "longevity in the NFL" would be more valuable than a ROTY prediction award in the league.

No doubt. Getting drafted by NO certainly seems to me a favorable situation for Cooks to succeed in, both this year and going forward.
