A-Rod played in NY and he is loathed. I hate A-Rod, but he was and always has been a better player especially SS than Jeter. The PEDS didn't make A-Rod great. I think that's why Yankee fans hate A-Rod so much...Deep down they know he is a better player than Jeter ever was.

Truly one of the best catchers in the history of the game, and certainly one of - if not THE - best Rangers ever.

I feel really bad about how I treated MY as a fan his last year in Texas...He was just damn awful playing every day that I ragged on him a lot. I hate that Wash made me dislike one of the best players my favorite franchise has ever had the pleasure of watching. What a shitty situation in 2012.

I said it then and feel it now....the Yankees should have moved Jeter to 3rd when they acquired A-Rod. It wasn't even close in my mind as to who was the better SS.

A-Rod changed the way SS was played forever. I hate praising him, but dammit it is true.
