Last two seasons were easily the better cast for him during his tenure, but he hasn't elevated them or been a go to guy. Has he? I can't really think of a time they called his # and he won the challenge... maybe not a big enough sample size...

the guy did nothing to backup all the talk he ran since the Olympics and that put him down for me personally.

melo between knicks and bulls. bulls have a great plan in place where they get melo and gasol. lakers willing to take boozer in a trade plus 2 1st picks.

Wouldn't mind Boozer, especially if it's an expiring contract. Not sure how much the 2 1st picks would be worth considering how low they are likely to be.

I haven't looked at their cap numbers, but I don't see how they all fit under $81 mil even with a sign & trade.

IDK, he's becoming a stretch 4 to fit the styles of LBJ n Wade.... he had to vacate the paint. He changed his game the most out of the 3 IMO.

We'll see about D12 n Bosh... could work. I think Houston needed offense off the bench but we'll see.

I would expect that Dwight/Bosh would work better than Dwight/Pau did because Bosh has embraced the stretch 4 role, where Pau never did.

Exactly. If Lebron wins a title in Cleveland it will be a HUGE story for a few months. However, when it comes to how he's viewed historically, it will come down to how many rings he has, not the cities that he won them in. Winning one ring in Cleveland, ultimately doesn't equate to 2 in Miami, 5 in Los Angeles or San Antonio or 6 in Chicago.

This is so wrong simply because a win in Cleveland is more historic for him than any other city or any amount of rings unless he wins over 6.

Since 1995 the Yankees have won 5 World Series, but that 2004 title for Boston means more and trumps them all. That title and that team are legendary and will go down in history. Those 5 Yankee titles are just that....5 more Yankee titles to add to the trophy case. That win for Boston though transcended the sport and will be talked about for a long time. That title ended an over 100 year curse of no championships. Sure it's just one title, but it's one that no one will ever forget.

Fair enough but does Bosh want that role? even as such, he's not a prime Rashard Lewis stretch 4 either...

he's capable of adjusting and changing his game, that is true...

I'll have to see D12 n Bosh work together... for me I see both guys needing the ball down low but maybe Bosh will just float away like he did in Miami.

Melo, Butler, Gibson & Noah would still be a very good team in the east without Rose. The same couldn't be said if Melo went to LA & Kobe got injured again.
