Nice read. Have always been a fan of Frenchy. I was pretty surprised he didn't do better while in SF. I hope gets another chance in the bigs.

I still think the signing of Drew is ridiculous and it will mess up Xander. Also... Holt should remain with the club and hit lead-off but that won't happen since Drew is up

I would have been fine with the Drew signing if he were playing 3B or filling the utility role. I like Holt and think he'll be a good utility player for the Sox, but he isn't keeping this up. Drew's the better player.

ONLY defensively (if that) But the organization has stated from the beginning Drew is the SS, which is dumb very very dumb... Also, no other team made a play for Drew yet the Sox panicked and signed him.

And a nice golf clap to the rest of the NL West for losing their games yesterday Only SF and San Diego shocked won their weekend series. Pirates almost ruined it last night. It was nice for them to get the win after the ESPN announcers were slobbering all over Puig the entire game.

I like him a lot. We don't always get ( probably because we as a group of fans don't really care ), the perspective of the ballplayer on the edge of getting let go, as Hayhurst always was.

A much better writer than ballplayer, and, I hope he can figure out how to keep getting paid for the writing he does.
