The shit-train hasn't driven through Arlington again. It's parked, and has taken up residence.

That Tanaka guy that some on here insist on bad mouthing just brought his record to 9-1 and lowered his ERA to 2.02 by beating a very hot team in the A's today.

Maybe everybody is gonna figure this guy out once he goes through the league 2+ times. But for now, he's spanking.

I was listening to this game today and heard that the only game he's lost is to the Cubs which is the only team that's seen him twice. I know one thing, I wouldn't mind him being in our rotation right now, and for the next 6 years.

I'm comfortable with this move really. Although Tanner hasn't been lights out in his rehab, he's certainly proven he can be a valued option outta the pen. At least he certainly was last year. And his experiment with starting will take a little while for him to get totally back in his grove from the BP.

And this is not a knock on Poreda. Like him a lot, for our future.

It depends on his velocity. Every time we try to move a guy to the rotation they come back with less velocity. Tanner at 92 out of the pen isn't going to be effective IMO.

You might be on to it. And the Rangers attempts of moving guys from the pen to starters is bad at best, I agree.

Hell, the only guy who's done it well is the - maybe it's my - most hated Ranger ever, in one CJ Wilson.

You're on a great roll. So enlighten me - again - on what you're referring too in regard to Kinsler please.

And whatta think about tonights action?

It was in reference to him and Beltre joking around and not being serious. And it is true. I love Beltre's attitude in that he is always smiling and loves to play. But I can tell he is tired of the head pat and he does not get near as close to Andrus anymore on the pop ups. There is not a tougher guy in baseball and he knows when it is time to get down to business. He can separate that. Not sure Elvis knows when enough is enough.

I'll be at the game tonight. Luckily, I was given free tickets so I won't feel bad for leaving it if gets out of hand. We're 2-1 this season when I've gone with 2 wins in a row so maybe we keep it going. I'm grasping for just about anything at this point.

Wasn't Kenny Rogers in the pen before becoming a starter. There are some who can do it but it is hard if you get bounced back and forth. I know some starters have become very good relievers in Smoltz and Eckersley.

You are grasping. Really don't give us much of a chance here with Colby pitching. Hope I'm wrong.

He's going to the Yankees..... Lol jk

Most think he's going to MIL, but there's a mystery team. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the A's. I really hope we get in the mix. Most are saying he might lean towards a 1 year deal which is what I was thinking a week ago.

I can't believe Ogando is hurt,
and I refuse to believe anyone actually thinks I'm serious.

I really like the guy, but alas, he is indeed ...made of glass.

Meh, next season...this season is about what the Rookies come up with.
