Sterling is going to make out like a bandit, getting $2 Billion for the Clippers at a time when the NBA talent level is in the toilet, with only a handful of Hall of Famer's left in the league, on a couple of rosters, who by the way are long past their prime (Duncan, Parker, Kobe, Nowitzki, Garnett, Pierce and a couple of others). The NBA ratings are in the toilet, the players are crap and all you hear are how athletic they are, as if that means anything. Larry Bird wasn't the most athletic player, but the guy could shoot and play defense. Today's NBA players are pretty much scrubs, play no defense, allowing players a free pass to the basket without ever making them pay. You don't see players putting hands in the face of shooter's on the perimeter. Take the Heat/Pacers series, for as great as the younger generation claims LeBron James is, this series should be over. This years Pacers team is average at best if you were to measure them against some of the Pacers teams when Reggie Miller, Dale Davis, Jalen Rose, Travis Best, Rick Smits, etc. were playing. A lot of those Reggie Miller era teams would have mopped the floor with this years Pacers team and would beat this years Miami Heat team. And yet Reggie's Pacers teams were only slightly better than average, imagine what the elite teams in the NBA 10-15 years ago would do to the NBA teams today...todays NBA wouldn't stand a chance.
