The SportsHoopla QB Rankings: Pt. 13

Our previous poll ended with Nick Foles claiming the 12th spot.

You don't need to be in it for the long haul, just vote when you can. The offseason is long and I will space it out. There will come a time where it doesn't matter so I will group, but we'll go as far as we can.

Question: Who is the thirteenth best QB in the league?

Here are the parameters:

This is just for this coming year. Age can matter as far as current abilities and experience, etc., but don't choose a young QB over Peyton Manning because so and so is younger and can offer more years. Just base it upon who they are now. If younger means better, sure. Otherwise, it's irrelevant.

Assume that each QB is in the optimal system with an equal level of talent around them and coaching. If the current QB of a team does not fit in their current system or on a bad team, imagine them in the right system and average team.

This time, I just put who I think people would have in the next 12 - not my personal next 12. Make sense?

I was going to speed it up (one day for each poll) after the top half (16 QBs) and start one for WRs or RBs (Top Ten only). Then, top ten of the other.

And the question on WRs would be a hypothetical with an average QB. Or should it be with a QB who could max them out? I'm just trying to level the playing field so that WR is the only variable. You can't say, "he's only that good because of the QB." Or if you do, that should downgrade them in the rankings. Vice versa when a QB holds back a WR, in your opinion.

If I were to do one, it would be a "list your top five kickers," not a poll.

I'm with SteelersPride… Wasn't the whole point of these polls to basically "predict" the top 10 for 2014? Which means with their respective teams. If we drop that basis then it will get too crazy. Just my opinion, but I'll participate regardless… Still 100+ days until the season starts so… need I say more?

I'm with SteelersPride… Wasn't the whole point of these polls to basically "predict" the top 10 for 2014? Which means with their respective teams. If we drop that basis then it will get too crazy. Just my opinion, but I'll participate regardless… Still 100+ days until the season starts so… need I say more?

The point was to be regardless of teams or contracts or years left in the league, what are the rankings for the best QBs, but if everyone answers under the purpose or belief that you think/thought it was, the only functional way to treat the poll results would be yours. It would be silly for me to treat it otherwise. Of course, these polls are more subjective or homeristic than functional.
