We better have our eyes on Phillip Gaines and Jordan Matthews heading into tomorrow and trade up like all hell to secure some picks after that dud of a 1st pick.

in two years?

this is why it doesn't make sense...

unless they plan on converting him to CB which is still an iffy call for a first rd selection.

I would assume that is exactly what they are going to do, he play CB and if he can't work out at CB I think they know he'll be a great Safety.

I liked Bridgewater in the Texans scheme. Looks like they will draft yet another Carr, lets hope none of their fans remember the first one.

If they do draft Carr, has that ever happened before? a team drafts a pair of brothers for the same position before?

signing ok but drafting?

Wait maybe the Bengals did with the Palmers...

I wasn't really blaming you for the pick

Oh! Ha! It's all good. I'm just saying it's a Baalke type of move. They liked a young Culliver too (obviously) and this kind of falls into that kind of a comparison IMO.

Tomorrow- Daddy needs a Moncrief or Matthews and a Desir, Breeland or Reynolds and all is good.

i get what your saying buts thats awful for a team contending for the now... they could've drafted a developmental S later or have two drafts to get one or sign one....

WR, CB, C, TE(had more beef than S), DT, NT, DE, OLB...i don't get it

This is what I get for saying denard was too slow for a guy his size. So the Niners pick a guy who is even smaller and slower.

I don't get it. Why take a undersized S and attempt to convert him into a CB, when Roby was right there for the taking?

I'm guessing Roby's issues off the field could have been an issue, just look at all the trouble Aldon has been. The team will likely need to draft a pass rusher early because he's got to get suspended.

Seahawks reportedly had one guy highly rated on their board left and he was taken at the end of the 1st round so they then decided to move out.

Just seems shocking after hearing for weeks that we have the ability to move all over the board, and gonna have a impact on the draft. Then pick a reach that we are gonna turn into a project when we proclaim super bowl or bust.

He ran a 4.46 40 at pro day I believe

Not a fan of this pick, although the potential to have two S with some serious range is pretty enticing. Just WAAAAYYYYY too early IMO to pick him up. We could have drafted him in the 2nd if we really wanted the guy.
