Idk about yall, but i dont consider derek amazing. He's shown flashes, but i dont think he's close to amazing level yet. EA we got from the tex trade. Kinsler is a decent example, though he only had two great seasons and two meeehhhh seasons. I'm not seeing any consistent guy with our top 5 round picks who have turned out great

Honestly, I couldn't care less. Do you remember Teix? He was a star, and then wanted to leave Texas. He had a hall of fame career derailed by injuries.

Well, my argument isnt that we cant grow players, its that we've been struggling drafting players lol. I know we can develop them. We're pretty solid at that actually.

There has been several... none of them are hear anymore but maybe are not the caliber you are thinking. Perez looks like he could be really good. Davis would probably be the most recent though. Cruz sset a lot of time in our system but I guess we didn't draft him still. I say Holland is pretty good but not on the level of the players you listed. I think ironically they have been pretty good at drafting 1b.

Texas drafted a player who was born in Maryland of all places in 2001. He was on track for the HoF until his wrist injury and other problems.
