Just to give you guys an idea of how fucking terrible this is:

The phillies had one grand slam all of last year- already matched that total

It took the phillies 81 games to score double digit runs last year-already matched that total

The phillies had more hits today than in any of their 27 spring training games.

Remember when most ppl on this board didnt even want Choice on MLB roster bc we already had the quintessential 4thOF of badeball's dreams in e.beltre?

Coming in on this later obviously ... but can't let that ride. There may have been a few (not most) who thought enough of TEX being forced to carry E. Beltre as 4OF over this unknown Choice.

I was definitely not one of them. Beltre is out of options for a reason.

All of that is irrelevant, because Tanner Scheppers had no business starting today, and I highly doubt he finishes the season in the rotation. You can be pissed about today's outcome, but acting like this is going to happen every day is stupid. Get some perspective man.

True I was more referring to the pitching. Boy I hope this is not a sign for things to come because with this pitching we could really be out of the race by May. Definitely not a knee jerk and plenty of ball to play as in 161 of them but as they say you may not be able to win a division in April and May but you can certainly lose one.
