Anyone have Mettenberger on their screen? Had some off-field issues in college, looked like he tore it up against lesser talent, and had a pretty solid senior year, does he have what it takes for the NFL?

Yea I've been reading that everywhere... But someone was telling me that he believes it to be smoke & mirrors to whom they're really after, Bortles. Can't remember who it was but it's a valid thought

I think if you have an aging veteran QB this is the guy I would want. Coming off major knee surgery, but prior to his injury he was a good leader on the field, protected the ball, and really does have a big arm...

You and me both. I would much rather them sign Allen than Melton any day of the week. Allen offers consistency but Melton when healthy is a top 5 DT in this league and would add a ton to that interior DL for Seattle. Inside pressure is hard to find in the NFL compared to outside pressure so definitely was sweating this one a bit.

Yeah I agree with you about pressure up the middle, it's hard to find.

David Carr was a 1st overall pick of an expansion team. He got hit more than any other QB during the time he played. He NEVER had a chance to succeed.

Anyone have the cap space or the need for WR Desean Jackson? Apparently his days are just about over in Philly. I think my Eagles are going to get screwed big here unfortunately. Not many teams can afford the cap hit. I think he's getting released which sucks.
