Apparently the Sixers think the All-Star break already started.

The Bucks still have a better chance to get the #1 pick but next seasons draft is so loaded it doesn't really matter.

The 2nd team in NBA history to lose consecutive games by 40+ points....The previous team was the 93-94 Sixers

Sure they will be.....That team haven't been really good since the early 2000's

So you think that a healthy Noel and most probably a top 3 pick in Wiggins or Parker won't be a force to be reckoned with?

I believe we have a nervous Heat fan on our hands...

Wiggins is awful.

They will fight for a 7th or 8th seed at best. You don't win with all young players ( see the Kings & Bobcats if you don't believe me). You need some damn good vets on your team as well

Really no reason for Heat fans to be nervous.

In 3 years they will be rebuilding anyways (and the Heat fans will be rooting for somebody else...bazinga) and the 76ers will have some talent but the GM will need to do more than draft to make them dangerous.

He's no Lebron James or Kevin Durant. As I said before building through the draft only works if you're able to find a borderline superstar in the draft and even that doesn't always work if you don't have the right group of young guys Surrounding that player. Also Noel is no Anthony Davis. He's a good defender but his offense is nothing to be impressed with. You're basing Philly being a championship contender next yr based on 2 rookies and a 2nd year player? Also the lottery is a crapshoot, they can easily get the 7th or 8th pick instead of a top 3 pick

I'm not a bandwagon bitch like you are and second of all people need to stop making every single discussion on here about the Heat. No way in hell the Sixers are going to be a championship contender next yr with 2 rookies and a 2nd year player. It's not even like they have good role players because they're trying to trade all of them. Young, Turner, and Hawes would be perfect role players on a championship contender but yet Philly is trying to trade all 3 of them.....This has nothing to do with the Heat. It is an obvious opinion of anyone who watches basketball. The only way they may have been a championship contender is if Carter-Williams name was Lebron or Durant (in their 2nd yr) and even then it's damn near impossible to be a championship contender when 2 of your top 3 players are rookies.

You don't win championships in this league if your best player is in his 2nd yr and your 2nd & 3rd best player are rookie

I don't think Wiggins is a sure-thing NBA superstar from what I've seen of him. Still raw but certainly lots of potential. I haven't seen Noel play much. His potential NBA impact is still TBD. Philly is still a few years off from being a contender assuming all their young players pan out.

You must be a Heat fan who's scared of the Sixers right? Fucking idiots.

Wiggins is overrated at the moment based on how hyped up he was in the last 2 yrs. As you said he is far from a sure thing superstar in the NBA and just like we giving Noels all this hype based on what? The 2 months he played in CBB last yr?

I am a Lebron fan (also a fan of several other players) and could give a shit what corporations they are playing for, you should know that by now.

and second of all people need to stop making every single discussion on here about the Heat or Lakers.

I do agree but I was just responding and making a light hearted joke.

Long rant...

You don't win championships in this league if your best player is in his 2nd yr and your 2nd & 3rd best player are rookie

You have been pretty grumpy lately, whiskey and pussy bro.

You are preaching to the choir, if Wilt couldn't do it, MJ couldn't do it, LBJ couldn't do it I really do not think any of the players PHI has or will acquire in the next 3 years will make them a true contender in those 3 years.

I'm basing Philly being a championship contender on the fact that the east is weak as shit and in 2 years time Miami will be bottom of the barrel again. Then it's up to Indiana and Philly to fight it out in the ECF.

Building through the draft works best when you...

A) draft a superstar who doesn't actually start getting your team wins for a few years, giving you opportunities to string consecutive lottery picks together (see Thunder)
B) Have 2 veteran superstars injured for most of the year, allowing a playoff team to get a lottery pick (see Spurs)

The two franchises who love most to talk about "doing things the right way" both got pretty damn lucky.
