No, and I'm a Wiscondin alumni who loves Wilson. I also had season tickets the year Seattle's offensive coordinator won the first Rose Bowl in forever for Wisconsin. I'm saying that I think people too often confuse performing better for a better team as sign that one player out of 52 is better. I think Luck also would have won a Super Bowl with Seattle this year and Wilson would not be a current Super Bowl champion if he were playing for Indianapolis.

I agree, luck will be a top five qb for many years. Wilson may not even be a starting qb in five years.

How about this...excluding QBs...who else is the most untouchable player in the league?

Robert Quinn? Earl Thomas? Luke Kuechly? Richard Sherman? JJ Watt?

Any of those could easily be traded if the price was right.

But which QB would demand the highest value? I would probably go Peterson.

Still haven't seen any sound argument proving that Luck is better than Wilson :noidea:

The most untradeable non QB. Hmm. You'd have to look at the impact of them leaving the team. How bad would the team look without him? I think its either AP or Calvin. Without those guys, the Vikings and Lions are true cellar dwellers.

It is so early in their careers that its a moot point. The Colts rely much more on Luck than Seattle does Wilson. That may change as the years go by.

I have to disagree with that. 2 full seasons for both of them. You say the Colts rely much more on Luck. So tell me then. Why doesn't Luck have more TDs than Wilson? With 397 more pass attempts. He doesn't even have 2000 more passing yards than Wilson. I just don't see how Luck is better in any way :noidea:

This is one of those completely subjective discussions where everyone will have a different opinion..... Similar to a goat discussion. there is nothing to `prove `' and its not just the fans that will have a variety of opinions. You could ask every front office person the same question and get a bunch of different opinions.

When someone brought up Rodgers, I thought about it, and I honestly do think that all 32 GMs would take Rodgers over Luck and Wilson. You've got at least 6 elite seasons left out of him, and they haven't reached elite status yet. So ask yourself this: Would you rather have 6 elite seasons right away, or go with a young gun who's still maturing and you'll end up getting about the same amount if he develops. And surely there is going to be a great QB separate themselves and be a #1 overall draft prospect within the next 10 years.

Well to me it depends on a couple of things. The first being what kind of team would I have around that player? IF it is championship level then yeah it is worth going ahead and getting Rodgers at this point. IF there is still some more rebuilding to do then I would rather take one of the young guns and let the team build up around them to have that 6 year window maybe a couple years down the road with them. Throw in it depends on contracts. With Luck and Wilson you still have a couple of years that you don't have to pay them the big bucks. This allows the team to bring in more than what they could say Rodgers was the quarterback. AT least for a couple of years that is.

Luck's results have not matched the hype so far. I need to see more from him to consider him most untradeable.

Sorry friend, that is "stinkin thinkin"

Luck is everything you hoped for at this time in his career. He just finished his sophomore year in the playoffs! This kid is the real deal, if you drafted him, you are going to continue to build around him.....

Luck has all the talent in the world but he has shown tendencies to be inconsistent and forces it too much resulting in too many INTS.

He is basically untraceable but it is still based on potential. He still needs to develop quite a bit to live up to all the hype.

WTF has Luck ever won? Seriously if he is SO good why did he throw 7 INTs in 2 postseason games?

The Colts didn't have any business being in the playoffs in the first place. That team had one of the worst supporting casts both on offense & defense I've ever seen in a playoff team much less a divisional winner. They had like 19 guys on IR to boot.

What has he ever won? He took the worst team in the NFL to the playoffs as a rookie, and he won a playoff game in his 2nd year on a piss-poor team. That's damn good.

Imagine what he'd do with all the help Matt Ryan's had! He'd have won 3 Super Bowls in his first 2 seasons. Maybe 4.

Luck is one of the most overrated players in the league.

He's a good QB, but the level of praise he gets is ridiculous. I'm not saying Wilson is the better choice (most untradeable) at this point, but Wilson lost his starting 2 wide receivers and the ENTIRE O-Line was out at some point during the season (literally every starter was out).

If Luck had the defense and running game that the Hawks do, I think they still would have won the Superbowl.

I don't buy that arguement. The Colts have a much better supporting cast than people give them credit for.

The worst to first was based on the team tanking to get Luck to begin with. They were very good the year before that.

Luck is damn good and show flashes of brilliance but he is far too inconsistant at this point. He needs to cut way back on the turnovers before he is as good as everyone says that he is.
