I didn't say nor did I mean the Denver had inferior CBs.
Both QB's you hail as superior to RW failed in leading their teams to a playoff win.
Foles 0-1 in playoff games.
Smith 1-2 in playoff games. Alex has been in the league for 9 years and has never been to the big game.
Wilson 3-1 in playoff games and in the Super Bowl in his 2nd year.

It was just recently when you said you were smarter than so many of us. Looking at your inability to spot NFL talent has me thinking you should rethink your position as the all powerful.

as individuals they are better than Wilson-period. Wilson has been able to function with his team but he is as of now inferior as a QB still.

That may be the lamest statement I've ever read. I watched your last playoff game, the only impressive play I saw was the last one. Oh and the one where the 9ers recovered the fumble that was given back to your team so you could score.

So actually you didn't watch the game because Michael Robinson recovered that fumble, not the 49ers. It just happened to be 4th down, but thanks for failing at trolling once again.

if they didn't have to sell out to stop the other two the same applies here.

both SB teams are tied at stopping the run and Phil. and KC had better QBs then Seattle does.

I don't see where Denver needs to sell out to do it or where Denver's CBs are that inferior at all against a Seattle passing game ?

For about half the year, they were atrocious, yes. After that San Diego game they picked it up a notch.

Remember, last years SB winner - the Ravens - had an Oline that played badly most of the year then found themselves (if you will) about 3/4 of the way through and rode that all the way to the Lombardi.

Denver's defense isn't as bad as you think they are.

And judging by what I saw in the playoff games, Wilson can't 'go off' on anyone.
Oh you must be new to football then. That explains all the stupid shit you post.

Guys, take it easy on Midnight. She's just learning that the 2 most recent games don't dictate a player's ability.

Don't worry honey, you'll learn. Maybe ask your boyfriend about it

And you seriously still want to claim you're not a troll?

Seriously?

I'll give you the chance. Re-read what I quoted you as saying and please try to tell us all with a straight face that you are not a troll and that you are smarter than all of us. Please. We all need to let off some steam with a hearty 5 minute laughing session.

You are pathetic.

No, honey...I'm old enough to remember the Immaculate Reception. I remember all 6 of our SB runs with vivid clarity.

The difference between us is that *I* recognize that you're not going to play in the Super Bowl as well as you did in the regular season.

But if you want to discuss the regular season....Russell Wilson is dead middle of the pack in that regard. Feel free to brag.

Russell Wilson is NOT some elite quarterback.
He is not horrible either. He is probably a little on the above average side.

His biggest asset is that he is a quality game manager that is capable of making good decisions.
He is not asked to carry the load.

He can pass when the situation demands it and not take a lot of risks that other QBs are forced upon.

Playing alongside an elite defense, a dominant running game, and a money kicker tends to produce those types of quarterbacks.

Football is a team sport.
Overall Seattle has a far better team than some of the better quarterbacks who lost.

I don't know why Seattle fans take things so personally.

The recent Superbowl history is littered with Brad Johnson, Trent Dilfer, and even Joe Flacco.
They are not instantly elevated above other guys for simply having great teams.

I gotta say it would be nice to see Sherman get lit up on the biggest stage. That is the best way to destroy an egomaniac.

The fact is the Seahawks have won games in all types of fashions, blowouts, shootouts, defensive struggles, fighting back after getting down big......

The Broncos have won games on Manning's arm.

Seattle is the more complete team. This will be on display Sunday.

You would be wrong in that assumption.

Denver is a well balanced offense that just happens to have a prolific passing game as well.

Marshawn Lynch: 1573 yds from scrimmage - 14 tds
Knowshon Moreno: 1586 yds from scrimmage - 13 tds

And Moreno did it on 60 fewer carries, so technically he has been more productive than Lynch except scoring and we are talking one TD.

Which is more than made up for by Montee Ball who had 569 yards and 4 TDS (in limited playing time this season including two red zone rushing TDs against the Chiefs) so overall Denver actually had a slight edge in the running game this season over Seatlle.

You guys constantly make a lot of assumptions without actually checking the facts.

Look at RW's numbers these past two seasons and compare them to Roethslisberger's first two seasons. Both teams were built with run-first offenses and both only asked their QBs to throw a small amount of the time. Both shifty guys that kept plays alive, and after tomorrow, both will have won a Superbowl in their second season

The keys to this game are simple to me.

For Denver it's pass protection. For Seattle it's the secondary.

The more time Manning has to hold on to the ball the better chance Seattle's pass rush gets to him. That means it's strength vs strength. Denver has a very good OL & Seattle has quite possibly the best secondary in the league. It's going to be fun to watch who gets the better of who tomorrow.

I couldn't agree more with this assessment. Because this is strength vs. strength though I think it will then come down to who has the advantage when the Hawk's O and Bronco's D is on the field. If one dominates the other, then game over. That battle, IMHO, will dictate the outcome

Manning handled the SD defense (ranked 23rd) and NE defense (ranked 26th). What ever are we going to do?!?!?

Those rankings are total defense which is not very relevant when evaluating the overall effectiveness of a defense. All you Seattle fans keep falling on total defense when the relevant stat is SCORING DEFENSE as in ppg allowed. Bunch of noobs.

NE was #10 and SD was #11.

A good team who has a good offense is typically playing from a lead and can afford to give up a lot of passing yards and even rushing yards in the 3rd and 4th quarter, like Denver, and then get stingy in the redzone, like Denver.
