yep it was a glancing blow and he came up a bit high but the guy was pretty short

I wouldn't confirm that at all.

I find Canada looks slow out there, particularly the D. I expected guys like Dumba and Pouliot to be dominating in a game like this and they look pretty bad, IMO.

This isn't on the refs if you ask me. Still got the third to straighten this thing out though.

Staple Leier, Bigras and Gauthier to the bench and let the guys who are contributing play, Butter.



P.S. This isn't the dub Hockey Canada. You need to pick guys with elite skills and not just cherry pick guys from the WHL. Leier is flat out not good enough to be playing for Canada on this stage. Bring an elite PKer or a couple of guys who can just fly. The thinking of the braintrust of this team needs to change or we're going to be looking at the podium more often than we'll be standing on it.

And yes Dash... I am extremely sick of seeing Butter behind the bench.
